so my fiance wants me to try 2c-i ive doneit before a long long long time ago, but now im on lexapro and i also take xanax for the anxiety. and i was wondering if it is okay to do 2c-i while on the lexapro, and if i need a xanax i was wondering if thatd be okay to add to the mix. He told me the 2c-i has a moodstablizer in it to make it so youdont have the same intesity in the brain as lsd gives you, ive done lsd too but niot in over a year. so im just wondering if it would be alright for me to do it since i do have issues with anxiety. and i was wondering also if anyone knew what exactly is 2c-i and if it has this moodstablizer in it like he says.
 
ive done 2ci plenty of times on prozac, was fine. dunno if it was weaker or anything, but it still works.
 
SSRI's block or reduce the effects of almost all psyches and 2C-I is no exception. It still works for some but not as well as it would without the SSRI. Benzos also greatly reduce the effects of psyches so trying to trip whilst taking a benzo and an SSRI will probably be disappointing at best. It's not dangerous but don't expect great things cos they both greatly reduce the effects of many psyches.

Also, 2C-I has no mood stabilising effects whatsoever - no psyches (except possibly aMT) do really - although many will leave you with a nice afterglow which can provide a moodlift. To be honest, 2C-I is generally pretty euphoric but is also speedy as hell and can be kinda manic (especially at higher doses - 20mg and over would be a high dose) so is not one I'd advise for somebody in your situation. I'd go for a gentler one and wait till you're off the meds before using psyches.

thanks! i didnt realize i posted this twice and dont know why it happend. im pretty sure the does is 15mg theres barely any powder in the pill at all. we already bought it too, so its speedy sometimes? cause i read that online too, and im not a big fan of the speedy shit anymore, idki used to do e pills and lsd all the time, but i havent in over a year so idk. i do want to try it, and if it doenst work as well for me becuase of the SSRI then oh well my fiance bought it so idc :) but the only reason why i would take a benzowould just be becuase if it was too speedy for me and i couldnt handle it. but i am going to check out those threads. im still new to this so i dont quite have the hang of it yet.
 
Benzos do not _block_ the effect of psychedelics like SSRI's can. Benzos do exacty what they're supposed to do, which is relax you and blunt the effects of strong feelings, which is part of the fun of tripping.

If you're in an uncertain mental state, i would see nothing wrong with having benzos onhand, and would recommend it. Don't take it if you don't need it, though.
 
alrighty! still gotta plan when to do it, its hard to find a good time for tripping when you got a baby. haha
 
tonight was the night for me to do it, and i had a absoluet great time, the lexapro didnt even make it so it was less at all i still tripped balls and am still, i ate it at 930ish it just made me feel sick for about an 1hr and then just started tripping face. next time i will take a hit of lsd so i can have more depth into the whole trip and better visuals :)

LOL I had the impression it would be your first trip, what with asking about 2c-i having a mood stabilizer in in it and all. I guess not. Try 2c-e if you get a chance, it's a lot deeper trip all by it's self.
 
i first heard about this stuff quite a few years ago and was very interested then all word of it just died out? is it easily available? is it a legal research drug? all the sites i found years ago said they couldnt send to england. i love tripping but the chance of getting acid where i am are slim to none!
i'm guessing most you guys are from down south! no trips or even pill for that matter up north these days.

im from up north in the u.s and its hard to find stuff here too, it usually appears during festival season which is now :)
