i've barely heard of 2C-i let alone heard how it tests with marquis. i know someone i might be able to ask tho.

I am fairly certain it will turn green, like 2C-B. Positive actually.

me too! pretty much positive about green..
btw: this is really hard to synthesize, it seems quite exotic to me that s'one actually went thru all the hassle to make s'thing that does not differ too much from the brominated one..

I think you would go to the hassle for the sake of reasearch.
Have you tried both chemicals? Unless you have you cannot really judge the similarity of the two chemicals. But according to various trip reports, the two chemicals seems the markedly differ in certain aspects.
The fact that it would turn green is complete speculation. Until a definite test procures results I think only then can we say what the reaction is.
