2c-i= no effects

I purchased some 2c-i the other day and last night me and my g/f done 20mg and after about an hour and a half nothing had happened. So we decided to do another 10mg. Still nothing. Finally an additional 10mg and after about 5 hours my g/f said she had some mild visions but nothing else. I didnt even get that.

Im really gutted because the 2c was not cheap by any measure.

The source said its 99.8% pure so should be ok. Im really disappointed about it not being all that. Is there anything i can do to add to the strength?

Would love to recover some of the potential.

Sounds very much like you were sold bunk to me cos 40mg of 2C-I would floor even the hardest of hardheads - 20mg should have been more than enough for you both to be tripping pretty hard. Sadly the claims of purity made by vendors/dealers aren't necessarily all that reliable. Maybe try an alternate method of administration (plugging reduces the dose required by around half as does snorting - snorting hurts like hell and tends to increase the bodyload though) but it really does sound like you were ripped off, to be honest :\
 
that really sucks that you got bunk stuff. I tried 2c-i for the first time recently, and 20mg was definetely a good amount for me. I really enjoyed the visuals but the energy it gave me made me a bit uncomfortable. Next time ill make sure to have something to keep me occupied like some paint or markers or something. i hope you find some real stuff, its definetely something worth trying :)
 
Are you or your girlfriend currently taking any medications? An SSRI seems it could be the culprit here.. that or your shit is cut way down... But I'd be willing to bet it's a medication thing first.

If neither of you are on any meds, try taking an initial dose of 30-40mg and see what happens from there... if she got visuals towards the end, it may have been very cut.... or another idea is it may actually be 2c-c... what does it taste like? What color is it? some people may not fully realize they are tripping at 20mg and subsequent dosing of 10mg probably wouldn't do much. It's not uncommon for legit vendors to mislabel things on accident. Does your vendor also stock 2c-c or 2c-d?

I think isotopic is right here, at least if SSRI treatment has been occuring prior to the experience.
My first experiences with LSD about 2 years ago, were while I was on SSRI's (Celexa to be exact).
And while my friends would take 1 and trip, or 2 and trip hard, i would take 5 to get similar (if not less intense) effects.

Also, when was the last time you and your gf took a psychedelic substance?
