2C Family effects summary

So from collecting accounts and descriptions of the various 2C drugs on this site and 420chan I collected, combined, edited and wrote this brief summary off effects on them. I wrote summaries for 2C-B, C, D E, I, P, T-4 and T-7. The link is here http://taimapedia.org/index.php?title=2C_family
Hope its useful. Feel free to use it and spread it around as you see fit. I also collected, edited and wrote an article on MDMA and most aspects of it, in case anyones interested. http://taimapedia.org/index.php?title=Mdma

effects can vary significantly among different users, so your describe is too subiective.
For example 2c-t-7 generates for me very strong bodyload, and I didn't see any unique aztec visuals. 2c-p isn't similar to LSD. 2c-i is very visual in doses over 35mg and it's very, very euphoric. I think that so accurately describe the actions of individual substances is pointless

I did say this was a collection of accounts from various people. Its not 100% accurate and is meant to give users a general idea of the difference between them. It is much easier and more effective than reading through multiple experience reports trying to get a general sense of what its like.

Keep in mind that it is a wiki website so there is nothing stopping you from editing it and contributing yourself

I think this summary is highly subjective and won't help anybody. Actually it will give some people a feeling of guaranteed effects and will keep them from researching on their own. Not to mention some logic-faults.
Who do you think will this wiki help in a web full of (mis)information?

I never claimed it to be complete...
read "I did say this was a collection of accounts from various people. Its not 100% accurate and is meant to give users a general idea of the difference between them."

I also collected a bunch of accounts of the series using a 1-5 rating system with the categories 'mindfuck', 'visuals', 'insight', 'bodyload', 'euphoria' and 'stimulation'. I didnt bother to average them because I didnt get enough information for 2C-D, 2C-C or 2C-T-x but it was used to get a vague idea. The rough results are here http://www.mediafire.com/?lkjk4wo6cxrxgrm

Do whatever you want, but I do not think that anybody is in the need of this and why posting it if you say it's not 100% accurate.... Think there's enough inaccurate information even without that summary. :)

I at least try to help and contribute, not just non-constructively criticize others work.

...why posting it if you say it's not 100% accurate....
Do you only do things if youre able to completely, perfectly, accurately complete it? Of course not. Nothing is ever perfect but we try our best. Its a poor model to not do something if you cant do it 100%

Sorry, but I think it is a poor model to fill the internet with more inaccurate information than there already is.
But this is where I stop participating in that conversation, as I have extensively shown my point.

mostly on point. but 2ci i would consider quite visual at times, especially in large doses, and 2ct2 as EXTREMELY visual as in some of the most visuals ive ever had from any substance

Actually I disagree - I've recently developed an interest for the 2C-x family and found this thread a decent start for my research. I appreciate what the OP is trying to do, and anybody with half a brain will realise that his brief effect summaries will vary from individual to individual. My principal concern was the idiosyncracies in descriptions (the aforementioned 2C-C and 2C-I comparisons not matching up). I did however find the original link you provided quite helpful, and it does a better job of what you tried to do (in good faith!), so cheers for that :).

Anyway everyone seems to be ganging up on this guy, pointing out the obvious (that subjective reactions vary) when anybody who's been doing drugs for a while will take that point implicitly. A bit more love people, come on.

Couldn't have said it better!

And I for one would also like to see something similar for some of the other "available" RCs out there, for those of us that are new to the whole field! MXE, etc.

one major criticsm that i have is that you do not mention the possible poor effects of each. i aslo agree that these are very subjective descriptions. a better idea would be to go into each effects page on erowid and use their descriptions, which are typically quite honest and based on quite a bit more info than you'll find here or in 4chan

example:2c-b

POSITIVE

* mood lift, euphoria
* increased giggling and laughing
* feelings of empathy
* feelings of insight
* brightened colors / enhanced visual perception
* closed- and open-eye visuals
* mental and physical stimulation
* enhanced tactile sensation/eroticism
* increased access to spiritual ideation

NEUTRAL

* general change in consciousness (as with most psychoactives)
* decreased appetite
* pupil dilation
* restlessness
* unusual thoughts and speech
* change in perception of time
* unusual body sensations (facial flushing, chills, goosebumps, body energy)
* change in body temperature regulation
* ego softening (but less than LSD, mescaline, or psilocybin mushrooms)

NEGATIVE

(likelihood of negative side effects increases with higher doses)
* uncomfortable changes in body temperature (sweating/chills)
* nausea and/or vomiting
* tension, muscle twitching
* confusion, difficulty concentrating, problems with activities requiring linear focus
* insomnia
* unpleasant visions
* unwanted and overwhelming feelings
* paranoia, fear, and panic

also, including dosage amounts is another good iidea, because it is easy to think that these all have similar dosage curves, when in fact they can be quite different for example, 2c-d's common dosage is listed as 20-50mg, whereas 2ct2 is 15-22...while they overlap at about 20mg, someone used to taking 25mg of 2cd would have a hard time on 2ct2
