A few months ago, me and a small group of friends began experimenting with 2c-e. The shadow people in question appeared to me and a friend on the first time we dosed orally, and the first time I dosed rectally on my own. This occurred over a 2 month psychedelic binge, in which I dosed 2c-e once or twice a week with scattered acid and mushroom trips.
The first time we dosed, I was with two friends and we all took 16mg. Two strange events happened:
1) Towards the peak of the come up, it was night time and we were on a walking trail surrounded by forest. Friend A sat on the sidewalk and too a meditative pose while friend B stood anxiously, afraid of the dark forest. I was pretty out of it, spinning in circles, mesmerized by the kaleidoscoping visuals. I begin trying to talk to Friend A, about what I cannot remember, when all of a sudden I saw a flash of a shadow behind him, and he reacted to this, stiffening his whole body with his eyes wide open. He said that a shadow had climbed inside of him through his spine and in to his brain. He laid down, and I stood over him, looking him in the eyes. I saw the shadow inside of him morphing his face, reminding me of an evil clown. I found the shadow amusing, toyed with it and made faces back at it, and I seemed to somehow "scare" it away...
This is unusual because from what I've read, these shadow people seem to be a result of paranoia, and they tend to disappear after you turn to face them. This was not the case for me. We left the forest and traveled to a variety of locations, the only notable one being the chick-fil-a parking lot which we deemed "heaven" (we were at a peaceful moment) to the forest's "hell" (I didn't agree with this assessment, but they thought of it that way).
2) After returning to my friend's home, we kicked back in the garage. After a night of claiming to see equations in trees and being taken over by shadows, Friend A finds a highlighter and draws all over himself (there was a blacklight so this created a cool effect, the face he drew on his face was the shadow I saw). He began to draw a map of our trip, all the places we went and things we did. He did this quickly and without thought, but the placement of -everything was incredibly accurate and symbolic. Chick-fil-a was on top of the map and the forest was on the bottom, which were there actual locations. However, when turned upside down, the trees he drew actually spelled "hell". I saw him draw those trees and know for a fact he didn't do that on purpose. This was a very intense moment, all of us simultaneously leaning away from the drawing, taking on the same facial expression as we stared back at each other in a shared mindfuck.
Now, my second encounter with a shadow person was alone. I rectally dosed 9mg and planned to stay home in my room, listening to music. I put on a trip hop artist I like to trip to, Emancipator, his second album. The way the music built up from the song "Old Devil" put a lot of sexual energy in me. This is where it gets really weird... and probably uncomfortable if you're still reading this.
The lights began to flicker, the room morphed as I grew hornier. Next thing I know, a shadow person--a female--manifests over top of me. I could feel her thighs wrapped against my waist; it was that real. She passionately fucked me and brought me to orgasm without ANY physical stimulation from yours truly.
Yes--I hallucinated sex with a shadow person.
It's just... I'm not sure what the hell this means. In most people's cases, the shadow people appear to mess with them. Play tricks. Bring about paranoia. But to me, they run in fear, evacuating my friend's mind and even serve my needs.
Now, I don't claim to know the nature of this phenomenon. All I know is that I have had group hallucinations involving them and each time they appear they represent something meaningful. Is this relationship indicative of some sort of darkness within myself? I can't help but wonder.
