2C-E/No Visuals?!

I take ephedrine often and get great visuals from 2ce. But I can definately attest that amphetamines (especially their after effects) significantly detract from trips of all kinds. The two types of drugs are counter intuitive for one thing.

I have always felt that the dosages people tend to reccomend are too low for me. I often insufflate 30-45mg to achieve desired effects and have taken up to 70mg and IV'd it (scary and awesome). Last time I checked the effects of one time amphetamine use are fairly long lasting (2 weeks to normal neurotransmitter levels) so it may be worth waiting at least that long before your last amphetamine use and your next phenethylamine use.

I concur, 2c's have to be in the 40-70 range to be even worth it.

I promise you all visuals from 2C-E at 20mg. Possibly uncontrollable. With 2C-E, you have to stare to get it going and then it won't stop even if you look away. That may have been some of y'alls problems.

I'd say it's most likely one of four things:

1) Have you ever been on, or are you currently on SSRIs or a similar form of medication? These interfere with Serotonin receptors somewhat long-term and reduce the effects of Psychedelics and various other drugs that influence Serotonin. It's normal for someone on SSRIs or who used them for a long period of time to need 2-4x the regular dose of psychedelics for similar effects.

2) The quality of the 2C-E is not up to scratch. By the vastly differing dosages people mention I suspect it is likely that there is a lot of low quality 2C-E around, this sort of makes sense given that it is very potent and most people won't notice an impure/cut product unless they've taken a more potent one in the past. Even if it is the most reliable dealer/vendor you've ever used, never be afraid to question the quality - people make mistakes.

3) Tolerance or cross-tolerance. Although your second trip was after a week break, which should be good, you should give it two weeks without consuming any psychedelics, the fact is you only mentioned research chemicals for one - and any psychedelic that affects 5ht2a receptors has cross-tolerance with other psychedelics that exert the same effect. However, even if you didn't take *any* drugs whatsoever in that week, still try two weeks, you said that prior to your first trip you tripped twice in two days, so that could easily significantly increase your tolerance, and it might take longer than usual to hit low/baseline tolerance.

4) Eyeballing. I'm only adding this one in because of personal experience. 20mg looks like 10mg looks like 40mg looks like 60mg - the human eye isn't good enough to accurately measure out such a small dose of a fine powder. I'm sure you're most likely not eyeballing, but if you are, as I have done, then it's easy to think you're taking a much smaller/larger dose than you actually are, so your 60mg dose could be as little as say 15mg. If you are eyeballing, get a scale.

Hope this helps. Of course it could be something else, and some people just act unnaturally to certain drugs.

On my last birthday a bunch of friends and I did some 2CE, they insufflated approx. 15mg (yes we eyeballed it, no lecture please) and I did about 20-25mg, and we all experienced "wavy" visuals, typical of the 2Cx family, but not mind blowing OEVs. The closed eye visuals were absolutely insane though...
I tried around 20mg Oral a couple days after and it was much more intense, and character of the visuals was very different, the size of objects were exaggerated and constantly shifting.

One thing I noticed was the ROA changed the trip enough to make it feel like a totally different drug. When we snorted the 2CE we were all tripping nuts but still able to mingle with other people at the party, it felt very much like MDMA with a psychedelic twist... whereas the oral dose felt a lot more like a "true" psychedelic with the headfuck to go with it.

I think this is true for any 2c RC, I remember when I took around 30MG of 2ct2, I started to get visuals, but got sidetracked and started moving around, the fractals stopped and I was left in a wtf moment. Good words of advice.

I understand. I've had some extremely wonderful trips without visuals (as they are relatively uncommon for me). Most of my experience is with DOI, 18-36 hours of mental/emotional excavating.

Strangely I've still never done LSD, Mushrooms, Ecstacy...mescaline...

I feel like I would have a much greater liking for the classic psychedelics.

Lmao, I know for a FACT you'd love E, as for LSD Shrooms and Mesc, I'm sure you'd like those more than RCS. Esp LSD+SHROOMS.
