2C-B Dosage [+LSD Cross-tolerance]

Hey BlueLight,

I've recently dosed 18mg of 2C-B HBr and it provided a mild psychedelic experience even with strangers around. I'm thinking of upping it to 21mg, but I've heard that the effects of 2C-B increase quite steeply with even small increases of doses.

The day after my next 2C-B experience I will be candy flipping. I'm concerned with the cross-tolerance between 2C-B and LSD at the 5-HT2C receptor. I'll be doing 125mcg of LSD, but if there's tolerance I'm assuming I'll have a 100mcg experience, which isn't much for me. I'm wondering if the tolerance is negligible, and if it isn't roughly how much tolerance should I expect (ie. 80% effectiveness of LSD the day after)?

I've found tolerance with psychedelics to be an exceedingly variable thing. I've rarely been able to accurately predict it, in myself or others, despite putting a good amount of time & thought into it.

Generally speaking the rule of thumb isto expect 50% potency the 2nd day using the same substance. Using different substances is even more complex. I've had moderate success by taking substances in order of ascending binding affinity when tripping consecutive days. YMMV. To the Max, lol.
 
I would only trip once. Why waste something as good as a candyflip?
Not to mention that it is generally not wise to trip on consecutive days, especially with MDMA thrown into the mix.

Regarding the dosage question: Yes the dose-response curve is steep but not as steep as other 2c-x's, especially 2c-e.
If 18mg were mild I think you could go to 25mg. But maybe better to take a step inbetween (22mg or so) if you are prone to the heavy bodyload.
 
I'm starting to debate whether or not I should do 2C-B the day before my candy flip. The day after my 18mg 2C-B trip I still felt quite drained despite it being a rather mild trip, and I don't think MDMA will be that fun when I'm drained. However, if I do consider pursuing the usage of 2C-B prior to my candy flip I'm thinking about bumping up my dosage to 21mg.

I may just do 150mcg of LSD for the candy flip if I end up doing 2C-B.
