2C-B - 1st Time - Exactly why it is not 'like acid and pills'

I wanted to write this trip report to explain clearly what 2C-B actually feels like more accurately than it is usually portrayed - that is, a cross between acid and pills.

It is an incredible drug. It probably has surpassed all other drugs in my mind as the most supreme I have tried - and the list, while not being complete, is very long.

My perfect type of drug would give you the incredible visuals of acid, the ability even to see other dimensions and people (spirits? whatever) whenever you want, but then come back to reality, the real you, whenever you wanted. That is, tripping hard when you want to, but whenever you wish, everything goes away and you are yourself again, without any mind-fuck or scary feeling.

I say this because I've had a few 'bad trips' myself on mushrooms (which I've taken extensively), and there's nothing you can do about it than just sit there and wait for it to pass.

With this drug, all is in control. This is where the 'E' part (or description) comes in. It's not a 'loved up' feeling at all, it is just a feeling of complete peace and clarity, of 'zen', without any clouding of the mind. If wished... Because if you want, you can go to places no man has gone before (or who knows for sure...)

But if at any stage you feel you're going too far and you want come back, bang, it's done. Back to reality with clear thought and thinking, this drug is even easier to handle than the E rushes that leave you confused and weird at times.

And I took a lot of this drug - four unmarked pills, of unknown quantity. I was enjoying it so much, my friends would not let me take any more - and I have some crazy friends.

An incredible tool for self-searching, for pure enjoyment in the visual range, this is a highly recommended one.

One note though - some people don't like 'trippy' drugs - if that is the case, don't take this. A friend who is like that took this drug and did not enjoy it much, though I found this hard to believe myself - because of what I've explained above.

I dont know who is describing it as a cross between acid and pills, but that is totally incorrect.

Its a pretty classic 5ht2a agonist. All the great beauty and splendor that the others hold (mushrooms, DMT, etc).

It *does* have a pretty euphoric push to it though.
 
^I find this one unique from the 5H2a antagonists you describe... A level above in pleasure, although since it was my first time it may just be the 'honeymoon' effect.

If there is a next time, I'll be able to tell better.

yeah i think next time try to write a report like this after you've done it
more than once. i know people can get a really good feel for it their first time,
but you are talking like you have lots of experience. who knows, maybe next
time will be completely different. we are talking about psychedelics here.

I assume you will be trying 2C-B again. I would love to know if you still have the same opinion quoted on it next time you try it of if you were just lucky with this one trip.

Has anyone else found 2C-B to have this effect?

This is one of three mainstream psychedelics that I haven't had the chance to try yet (simply out of bad luck). If this indeed is an effect unique to 2C-B, then I imagine it would be a perfect psychedelic for me, since I really appreciate what shulgin describes as ++ experiences. The problem is that the drugs that give me this (2C-D, TMA-2, and sometimes LSD) will only do so on their own accord - I would have no personal control over the depth of the experience.
 
the reason people describe it as a combination of acid and pills is really just a lack of knowledge.

it has some effects which you can get from pills.
and some effects you can get from lsd.

but it is nothing like candyflipping, lsd+mdma is an awesome combo, and there is nothing even close to this i've felt from any other combo.

i find with high doses its very hard to control the visuals if i can control them at all. (keep in mind i have to take 2 25mg pills to even tripp and 2 1/2 to tripp hard)

I agree with you on that one. At doses of 50mg or more the visuals are almost all encompassing.

How did you ingest the 2c-b? I found that when railed the trip is much different and is kinda edgy (the stimulant aspect of 2c-b maybe?) but extremely intense and when taken orally it's more chill and psychedelic.

2c-b burns like hell when railed but the end result is worth it. Taken nasally the come up can be quite intense depending on the dose.
 
It is like acid because of the CEV's & OEV's, body high, head fuck.

2C-B has never given me peace of clarity similar to MDMA, it has only sedated me and made me laugh my ass off! The visuals I would describe are stronger than acid in relation to how much you would pay for how much you trip.

And this is from me both railing & ingesting 20mg and 40mg doses.
 
Most psychedelics I've experienced left me believing that THIS ONE is the best of them all! Then after a few more times, it became less of a epiphany.

One of the fastest and surest ways to achieve spiritual insight is by using psychedelics and one of the fastest and surest way to losing that spiritual insight is to keep using psychedelics.
 
i prefer oral over IV


IVing it can be quite overwhelming (ive done it a few times)
 
i find snorting 2C-B it feels almost like another drug, the visuals become much more complex and overwhelming. I would say its good because snorting some 2C's can really cause problems and yes it burns like hell but definately worth a try once, anyone with a bit of 2C-B who hasnt snorted it snort a little bump :)
 
Its a good party drug but even at high doses i find the visuals were lacking and its not really a drug that makes me think at all.

And its nothing like X because theres no empathy just euphoria...

As far as psych's go IMO its got nothing on acid or shrooms, still enjoy it though its the best 2-C compound that i've tried.
