That's a quite light amount of DXM for a recreational dose, assuming an allergy test has already been conducted.

The diazepam is entirely up to you and your experience / tolerance with the drug. We cannot safely tell you how much of a CNS-depressant to take with your dissociative, sorry. Start low if you wish. I'd save the diaz for the come-down, personally.

i love taking low doses dxm (100-200mgs) + benzos.

definitely safe at your doses, i'd say it's recreational and u'll feel good, just dont drive!!!
 
Currently, I'm not comfortable going higher than around 300mg for a trip. I am only just at the point where I am able to take DXM without it severely flaring up my RLS, so now that I've passed that barrier I am learning to enjoy the trips. I'm getting to know the drug, and myself with it, before going very high.

Thanks for the replies. I didn't do it during the trip, but decided to save it for next time. :)
 
Iv'e had people tell me that benzos increase sedation with DXM? For me at least it just ruins the trip and I come down faster, only thing I mix with dex is some dank ass weed (REALLY enhances the trip) or maybe a couple beers before I start to peak.

It does with mine. Several anti-histamines cause it to flare horribly too, so I avoid taking them unless it is absolutely necessary (like if I have nausea really bad, I'll take a dramamine, but I know I'm in for a good hour or two of leg twitching and violent kicking and stomping around drowsily, ha). I hate having RLS, but I hate even more that so many drugs seem to bother it so badly.

I suppose the fact that I am wide awake right now, because I ended up sleeping the entire day after staying up all night, wouldn't mean much in the way of being able to fight that sleepiness the way I normally can with valium? I suppose I could try.


I was told that my extremely low dose tripping (I gradually increased by 20-40 mg over three days) isn't dangerous to do one more night as long as I take a long break between now and the next time.
 
Consistent use of NMDA-agonist chemicals WILL cause damage to your brain. Low doses may not, and will effect your mood (either more or less depressed - it's weird and inconsistent) - and low doses will potentiate opiates as well as lower your tolerance some (if you have one anyhow). I wouldn't recommend taking DXM on successive days...
 
I'm feeling good now. Like a slow elongated clam trip. A nice end to the weekend.

It'll be a while before I touch anything else though.

Please refrain from using personal experience as a "be all, end all" for dosing suggestion. What works for one person may / can / will kill someone else.
