Thought I would add to the growing stack of reports on this.
.5 mg 25i-nbome on complexed blotter held between my upper lip and gum for half an hour. Also smoked small amounts of weed throughout the night.
Pretty much all phenethylamines give me GI problems to some degree. I was encouraged by reports that 25i-nbome had a light body load. However for me 25i triggered all my usual side effects: a brief fit of sneezing as it cleared my sinuses about 30 minutes after taking the blotter; a sudden wave of nausea and vomiting at +1 hour; slight tremors and muscle tension throughout the experience. All of these effects were much, much milder and shorter lasting than 2c-x. I didn't do myself any favors by drinking a margarita and eating spicy mexican food just an hour before ingesting the chemical -- if I had been a little smarter about that, I probably wouldn't have been sick.
The body high came on first, and felt very light and electrical. The physical sensation did remind me a little of some LSD trips.
I spent the evening sitting around with friends (all were also trying 25i for the first time) and listening to music. At this dosage, I think I would prefer to be dancing or more active than I was, so I would have an outlet for the physical stimulation. Most of us started to feel the mental effects at +1.5 hours. In many ways it felt similar to sitting around listening to music on a 2c-x, but with a higher energy level -- more chatting and laughing, amphetamine trains of thought. The mental space for everyone was sharp and clear.
The energy climbed from +1.5 hrs until about +3.5 hours. My experience mostly consisted of heightened senses: sound and smell/taste most. .5mg wasn't enough to trigger visuals for me -- visual effects consisted of colors bleeding a little from one surface to another. No CEVs.
At around +4 hrs the mental effects started to drop off, however a clean buzz kept me going until around +11 hours. The only DOx I have tried was DOC -- 25i felt like a friendlier, cleaner, nicer DOC. One of the things I really didn't like about DOC was that the psychedelic effects wore off after only a few hours, but the dirty speedy factor kept me going for ages longer. With 25i I felt a very clean speedy buzz that lasted well after the mental effects wore off.
The experience wasn't deep, but I didn't expect it to be. I liked the energy level and the sharpness. I found the mental effects were cold and clear (similar to 2ci for me) while the body high was much warmer. I might try this again at a party, maybe in the 1mg range. My upper lip felt a slight chemical burn during the experience but the following day my mouth felt fine. Next I really want to try 25c and 25d, in my on-going quest to find the least nauseating phenethylamine.
