Hey everyone, going to keep this tr short as I cant remember the exp that well even though it didn't happen that long ago. Leading upto this trip I had been smoking lots of synthetic cannabinoids daily and wasn't too happy, in retrospect it was stupid to trip at this point although it was still enjoyable. I had decided to take 1mg on sunday morning as soon as I woke up, my fiancee would be with me smoking weed. I smoked cannabis + AM-2201 + AM-2233 throughout the exp. I had no prior experience to 25I-NBOMe and had recieved 10 blotters in the post.
0:00 - I woke up, went to the bathroom with fiancee, freshened up a bit, aproximatley 10:00 I put 2 tabs against my gums. This is my first time using tabs and I think I wasted quite a bit by moving the blotter around in my mouth occasionally + swallowing once or twice. I had a big bong prior to this, was in a light hearted mood ready to trip again.
0:30 - Still no sign of effects, bong is wearing off want another but don't want to take one with blotters in mouth. Worried it might not work as its my first time with this supplier.
0:35 - Maybe starting to feel something maybe placebo, unsure as ive been smoking synths and they bring out my HPPD like fuck
0:45 - Definatley feeling something, I swallow my saliva + the tabs. It was the HCL not HPBCD complexed stuff.
The rest of the trip i couldn't do by time as I didn't look at the clock.
Was chilling with fiancee watching the simpsons, talking, listening to music occasionally. The visuals were good but I was expecting a little more, bit of a dissapointment but a very enjoyable trip. Tracers were amazing although it seems ive been left with them and still get huge tracers with everything 90% of the time to this date. They were very very sparkly, I kept getting sparkles in the corner of my eye and abstract shapes were covering my walls as usual, CEV's were the usual old stuff nothing special. OEV's were amazingly purple, the purple reminded me of the convenant in the Halo series purple that you might know if you have played the video games. The reason there is not much to write about this trip is it wasn't emotional or introspective or anything. It had the nicest body high, reminded me of benzo's seriously, best body load from an psychedelic ive ever used. I thought this was a great substance for reacration and would have loved if my fiancee were tripping as well and we could just be fucked / crazy together due to the lack of uncomftorableness.
I was hitting the synthetic cannabinoids a bit too hard and had to slow down at one point because it was too much. I was chasing visuals too much as I was expecting something a lot more visual, I dont know why. Around 12 - 2 o'clock we decided to wake up a bit and turned the main light on and got out of sleepy just woken up mode. I had flashes of thoughts throught the trip thinking of how negative my use of synthetic cannabinoids had been, they were not very pleasent. The simpsons was still on as it is something I never get tired of. My fiancee made me an amazing chicken and mango chutney sandwhich that was heaven, no appetite loss really and food was amazing. I could feel I was at the plateu and overall the trip was slightly boring and univentiful, the visuals were good but nothing jaw dropping and the lack of depth to anything bored me. I was starting to get a mega fried brain feeling around 2.
The friend feeling got worse and worse to a point of being unbearable, I think this was either the NBOMe or the cannabinoids or the two combined. It was very unpleasent and was making me anxious / sketchy. THe trip was slowly fading away, I was kinda glad it was over. It didn't feel welcoming, kind of like tripping without the 'trip'. We played some guitar hero for fun and then fallout 3 which looked amazing + I got pretty involved in the story. The fried feeling got better and better as the trip subsided and was bearable after a short amount of time. Me and my fiancee decided to drink some liquid codeine we had, it had been stored in a plastic bottle and we drank most of however much was left of it, it was a reasonable dose though for someone with little tolerance.
3:00 - Feeling the codeine, very very nice, mixing it with cannabis + AM-2201 was overpowering in the best of ways. Things were looking a little more positive now, nearly back to baseline but still getting huge tracers, occasional sparkers and some mild visuals. CEV's are calm and relaxing, the whole trip was so relaxing it literally felt kinda like benzo land.
4:00 - Things are basically 100% back, most people seem to have said it wore off quicker so I was a little worried when it wasn't going away but I know better then to get panicked. I stop smoking the synthetics as I feel a little weird and have a headache. Sticking to real cannabis. Stick something else on to watch and chill with fiancee, try and explain trip to her but fail miserably as still feeling fried if asked to do any task.
By that evening it was not like I had taken a psychedelic at all apart from the tracers that I talked about being added to my HPPD symptoms. Overall, this was interesting I would like to try this out again and mayb e veen at a higher dose but would like to experience 1mg again before venturing further. The visuals were nice but the whole thing lacked depth and wasn't that enjoyable. Ive had a lot better psychedelics but it was very interesting and a decent trip all the same. Not much to be said about it though, im finding it hard to write this report as it sparked no interest and as I said, was pretty boring.
Later that evening I overdosed on AM-2201+2233 and quit synthetic cannabinoids for good, well started tapering down on them. This trip hopefully effected that positivity and I think it may have helped me cut them out, but thats a compeltely different story altogether. Thanks for reading and any feedback is appreciated
