25C NBOMe Questions

SWIM got a nasal spray bottle with 25 NBOMe in it. It was cut with alcohol, then mixed with saline at a 1:1 ratio. The night of the mixture between the alcohol solution and the saline, he said the trip was fantastic. However, the next night I saw him and he said it wasn't nearly as powerful (someone else was there, taking the first dose, and he was having a great trip); the NEXT night, he said it was even less effective. He said that he had left the bottle out, but never in sunlight and always in the A/C. I told him that he might want to put it in the freezer, but I'm worried that its become inert. If that were the case, he'd have a bottle of bad tasting chemicals. What should he do?! I want to try it, and I'll be very upset if it's "dead." Any other info on the substance, how to keep it, what to avoid, etc.).

I'm a bit confused, who said it wasn't nearly as powerful the next night? The same person who took it the day before? If so, that's a sign of tolerance, not degradation of the compound. I really doubt there would be any degradation anyway, if it's just a mixture of 25C, alcohol and saline, regardless of how it's stored.

25C-NBOMe and others of the family all develop tolerance very rapidly, like LSD.

the fact that a second person tripping off the same solution was there the second night shows the problem is not in the bottle but in your friend's brain. it is tolerance, builidng up fast. he should be taking a break, at least 7-10 days to get maximum effects. also, take into consideration that 25c does have cross tolerance with other psychedelics, iirc

Thanks everyone for your quick and helpful replies, but I've got some more questions for you all! Before all that, I want to apologize for using SWIM, but this is actually one of the rare times that it is someone who isn't me, so I'm not sure where the inconsistencies occurred, but again, I apologize for using it in the first place. Now, for my questions; i'm glad (probably for my own selfishness) that the solution isn't inert, it's just his will to live on another plane of existence for as long as possible. I want to get a couple doses from him to take a couple hours later, how should I go about it? Should I have him spray a crouton or altoid? Maybe blotter paper, a sugar cube, etc? If that works, whats the best substance to use? I was thinking of opening an oreo cookie, spraying the cream center, and reapplying the top layer, will this work? Or is there a better route to take? If any of this is possible, how long would the dose last outside of the bottle, and are there any precautions that I can take to ensure it lasts? Next question(s), I heard it was legal in the USA, is that true? In all 50 states? If so, where can i get it and how much is a standard quantity and how much does it cost? Lastly, I read that it was developed in 2004, so this may be a stupid and unanswerable question, but are there any known major side effects/long term effects known?

Again, thank you soooooooooo much for your time and sharing your knowledge with me! Maybe, one day there will be a question which I know the answer to and you don't. Until that day, I'll keep bugging you guys with stupid questions.

In relation to your question on side effects, I believe the chemical in question is a research chemical. There is a big and dandy thread on it. I'm not so sure though that side effects, if any are widely known. I would say though, that the 2c's are generally mild side effect wise unless abused, at which point not much is known. If the person is regularly dosing, however, the effects are very likely to have a sharp decrease. This applies to many psychedelics. Some say to "double up" to get the same effects, however, I don't really agree with this.

Example: I dosed 3 hits of LSD one day. The next I took 5 along with some MDMA. I got the visuals and felt a little high from the dose but in reality, the so called "mind fuck" or psychedelic head space was simply not there. I definitely was rolling hard however. I've candyflipped (LSD+MDMA) before and I know what it feels like but what I felt that night was a slightly visual roll. I know all of the doses were good btw.

We don't do sourcing on this forum by the way so as far as getting some, you're on your own. I would be led to believe it is legal though it is an analog of an analog of Mescaline so it might fall under the federal analogue act. I wouldn't be reckless with the possession of it as far as that goes. The law may or may not try to pursue it if you're found with the stuff.

Hey, welcome to Bluelight, sorry but like stated above we can't tell you how to go about getting drugs.

25C-NBOMe isn't orally active, so spraying on an altoid or somesuch would be pointless as it would be digested & rendered inactive. Hence the nasal spray. And in regards to legality, "legal" probably isn't the right word. It is currently uncontrolled, i.e. not addressed by any specific legislation. I wouldn't go walking up to cops telling them you're tripping but its ok cause it's legal

There have been precious few analogue act prosecutions, plus that's a federal law & unless you had a boatload of the stuff i doubt they're gonna call the U.S. Attorney's office to prosecute a simple possession case. Given the methoxy benzyl moiety i doubt an analogue act prosecution would even be possible, though stranger things have happened. If you were to be charged it would probably be under some state counterfeit drug law, which can be a pretty big hassle, definitely to be avoided.
