2 of my friends who have tried Nbomes have reported seeing "true" hallucinations. Friend A Claimed he say first a man in a bush me and friend B were climbing into (the moon was shining into it) and couldn't understand how we couldn't see him. Later he saw a kid sitting in a cage. Friend B reported seeing running figures alongside the path we were walking which disappeared when he shone a torch onto them but returned when he removed it. This was all during 1 trip.
On another trip recently we were in a tent and friend B (the tent flap was shut) saw the tent flap open and a man with a deformed face staring at him. Later he saw a pregnant woman sitting outside the tent. He said there was more but the question I pose is this:
The N-Benzyl substitution is still fairly untested. Is it possible it has fringe antagonist activity at the H1 receptors? I know my friends exhibited none of the other anticholinergic effects such as delirium, bodyload etc. I'm not aware of any other mechanisms for "true hallucinations" besides maybe D2 (psychosis) or NMDA (disassociatives) but again no usual effects of these mechanisms. 5HT2A doesn't cause "true" hallcuinations under normal circumstances. I've also had auditory hallucinations like voices and sound distortion while on 25c-nbome which are also atpyical of psychedelics.
So any possibility of activity separate from 5HT2A due to the N-Benzyl subsitution?
