250mg dmt + 250mg syrian rue extract = no effect ???

Yesterday at 3:30pm i consumed 250mg of syrian rue extract mixed with orange juice and at 4:00pm i consumed 250mg of dmt mixed with orange juice,

At 3:20pm i consumed a large toast with goats cheese (otherwise i hadnt eaten for over 4hrs)

Does anyone have any suggestions as to why I experienced absolutely no effects??? I was very confused... (considering both the dmt and the syrian rue extract are both 100% functioning...)

(Btw dmt had been melted onto herbs beforehand as it was initially intended for vaporising which i did vaporise some of which worked fine, and the melted dmt and herbs were what i mixed into the orange juice as explained above...)

But shouldnt the syrian have been strong enough and at that dose...
