24mg Hydromorph Contin.

I have just acquired a 24mg Hydromorphone timed release gel cap. Inside are a bunch of little white beads. I know Hydromorphone isn't very effective when taken orally but I was wondering what the most effective ROA would be, besides the obvious which I've read, is IV. I'm not into that. Also, will crushing up the beads defeat the time release?

Check out the bioavailability megathread. Glad you don't want to shoot snorted has the highest bioavailability, but bear in mind pills aren't designed to be snorted and contain a lot of fillers and binders. Snort slowly and gently. Careful with your dose too, 24mg is a lot of hydromorphone, you probably aren't going to want to take it all in one go! Do you have a tolerance?

Crushing up will defeat the time release, yes. You could crush and put in some rizla or tissue paper if you wanted to swallow it, or put it in a drink.
