240mg vyvanse safe?

I wanted to get a lot of school work done for my online course tomorrow. I have ADHD and about a couple of weeks worth of work that I wanted to totally knock out in 1 day. I am prescribed 140mg of vyvanse. Would taking 2 of them be a good idea? [Oh that would be 280mg. Thanks kurrupt haha]

i was not aware they made vyvance in such high doses. Do you always take them? if so your tolerance should be high enough to where it would be safe to take 2 of them. But from life lessons i learned that taking a lot of amps at one time to try to get weeks of work done in one day doesnt work very well.

Well it seems as though your tolerance is already high as you are scripted 140 mg vyv. Taking 2 in theory should not really be dangerous, just pop 1 and a half and take the other half a few hours after.

Hey OP, just found this interesting as I'm JUSSST now coming off around 260mg Vyv since yesterday early afternoon with a lot less tolerance factor than 140mg. I use for study purposes(lol, don't we all), approx. once weekly to bi-weekly during semester peaks.
Over the past day I've only had one incident of a side effect, which was some yummy acidic vomiting over about a 20 min period earlier. So although the question has been already pretty much resolved, there's my bit. It seems like you'd get some more side effects than what you're used to on 140, if this is a novel experience at 280, so like others mentioned, spreading the l-dex out for mini peaks and a stronger overall hit seems like your best bet

I assume that you take two 70mg capsules (140mg) daily and your question is if you can double that dose. Sure, you already have a tolerance to half that dose so you should be fine. 280mg Vyvanse is equivalent to 120mg Adderall (70mg = 30mg) and I've taken those doses with tolerance. From experience though I've found upping large doses of Vyvanse in specific produces paranoia. More so than other amphetamines.
