Football 22-23 NFL Discussion Thread

i hate to see him go. The short amount of time cam and him were together I saw huge potential, a duo we could build around. Unfortunately that fell apart. Everything's a mess now, so his talent is wasted on us. Glad he's somewhere he can be utilized.

the positive spin for us is that we needed draft picks and we got a lot. if they had waited any longer he could've gotten injured again and his value would've plummeted.

i don't see anyone who could possibly finish with a worse record than us. So hopefully we'll have first pick.

we'll probably trade DJ Moore too. They're saying they aren't now, but that's just to drive interest up.
I loved Cam Newton and it sucks that he lost to a guy like Peyton Manning a real sellout

Cam Newton once scored a touchdown reception passed by receiver Jakobi Meyers whaat

What's going to happen when the Raiders defense including (Mad) Maxx Crosby face Houston's Angriest Running Back D. Pierce?

So the pack lost the last three.. last time that happened was 2018.. they had no third down conversions last time that happened was fucking 1999. This was against the last place team with a backup qb. Very close to making the big plays we need.. but looking back I was thinking we would win four straight going into Buffalo. That shit certainly didn’t happen.. so I guess where is GB at this year? Have to say we suck

Now we have buf det dal and Phil in some order.. how the fuck is that going?

Are heads going to roll.. I’m thinking they will.

I wouldn’t be surprised if both the head coach and dc are sent packing in the next 4 weeks.

He didn't look like much though perhaps he just needs to have that thumb turned on
🤔
Yeh, we have to keep in mind that he hasn't played since week 1 having not played at all in preseason. Detroit was a good game to knock out some cobwebs.

Believe me, I was biting my nails during the first half having only scored 3 points. lol. But he found some rhythm in the 3rd quarter, connected with some medium range passes, and had a passing TD. The defense still carried the team, tho.

NFC East is a beast this year. Cowboys beat the 1-4 Lions today but it was a great test for Dak, who is back in action.
Yeah I usually hate when people say the NFC east sucks. 1) it's the only division composed completely of super bowl winners 2) the teams are actually evenly matched and competitive, there is no one dominant team amongst a bunch of scrubs. It's anybody's division, every year.

All these other divisions have very clear "dominant" teams, and of course these teams look more dominant overall when 6 out of their however many games are played against teams that don't match up with them at all.

I like having Donovan the strong safety and CeeDee Lamb if there was ever a time for him to start playing the role of a Stefon Diggs it's now

Thom Gravy and the Tampa Gay Cuckaneers are losing
He actually played a far better game than Action Jackson if you look at the numbers in terms of total yardage average yards per throw and so on and so forth. Something ain't adding up

:Sherlock:

Great teams have three or four players get 20+ in fantasy but most teams are going to have two.
