Check it out. There's an article and a video done by Hamilton Morris. Some interesting information. I never really looked into neurosoup, but just from seeing the picture of her I made the connection... Some interesting background about her, as well as some recent history in the production of LSD.

Kinda wild how out there people can get. Too bad for Pickard... Not much information on his part, but he seemed like a somewhat decent guy interested in the production of a very interesting chemical.

If you haven't seen this yet, Enjoy.

Yeah, thanks. I've been well aware of most of this crazy story, but Krystle's info helps fill in some gaps. And I like the pix! I've never been in an ATLAS silo, but I've partied in an abandoned NIKE missile silo.

By the way, if you're interested in writing (yes, snail mail only) to Leonard Pickard in prison, PM me and I'll send you his address. He'd love to get more mail!

Reading and watching this now.

I was browsing those Neurosoup videos a while back. They were okay, some of the info wasn't strictly accurate. Then I came across this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yR51z0UP4K4 ... What the fuck? She was involved in the whole notorious LSD silo fiasco? Reading now to see Hamilton's take on it.

I've watched that girl NeuroSoup's videos a few times in the past. Had no idea she was behind that shit though...

Thanks for posting that Flickering. That shit made me laugh so hard..

So many posts agree with him so fully. I think she was just a dumb kid, and it is extremely difficult for her to learn a lesson when she is gone so far out from being able to relate to anyone... Sucks for her I guess... I don't really want to criticize her, granted some of her stances are silly. She's at that point in life where she needs to justify herself. I like how Hamilton refers to the situation as a cosmic giggle.

That guy is pretty damn funny, though.

Hamilton just loves drug culture so much and anything involved with it. Shit gets him so excited.

^I've heard Terence McKenna use the term cosmic giggle as well. I think it accurately describes laughing fits on entheogens. I wonder where it originally came from and if it has ever been used outside psychedelic culture?

I'm with you. The guy didn't even do his research properly - referred to the kidnapped teenager as female, said Todd got four years in prison. Still, it's conspicuous that she's the only one who walked out of the whole thing.

They really need to make a movie about this, it's one of those stories that deserves it.

Yeah his research was a little weird... I don't know much about the whole thing... Some of his stuff didn't quite link up with the Hamilton video and article.

I watched one of that guys other videos though... and he continues to be pretty funny. He bought a bunch of legal "highs" from a couple different websites and goes about testing them. I laughed pretty good at those.

And yeah a movie about the whole whacked out scenario with Todd, Krystle, Pickard would pretty wild. Probably won't happen for a while. I think its still too recent, and not enough is known about it. Its probably too true too soon for the big screen. It would make the DEA and drug policy look like an even bigger joke for those people that don't already realize its a big joke.

I don't wanna be an asshole nitpicker...but...I came in here all stoked about the 21st century psychedelic trade, and it was the same article about the 20th century. I know all about what happened with Pickard in the 90's.

It is a good article though! =D It is quite long and detailed, I'm curious about some of those weirdly named psyches that she talks about...mmmmmm.I am still a bit confused about the whole testifying thing, but I know a lot of people were pissed at one point.

The shulgin documentary kicks ass, that man is a genius of our generation.
