2024 US Presidential Election

It is incredible that Trump enjoys the level of support that he apparently does. It's fascinating that RFK Jr appears to be viewed fairly positively by voters who identified as Trump supporters.

Is it simply that the world is an incredibly complex place with a great deal of uncertainty and people just seek a 'simple explanation'? I use inverted commas because simple but obviously ridiculous and requiring belief in utterly unrelated topics all being connected isn't simple if one is applying critical thinking.

I think it's absolutely fascinating that either party has any voters or supporters personally. It's like they had it in South Park, with the choice between the giant douche and the turd sandwich.

Glass houses elgoucho - while you are right we are in a similar type of shit sandwich. I do not want to waste my vote but I am no longer qualified to cast one in a country I cannot see being saved, regardless of how much I love it and my fellow citizens.

Oh i totally agree mate. No better here in the UK than it is in the US. The very concept of democracy is dying.

Wonder why they are throwing this guy under the bus. My guess is they are trying ‘prove’ that elections are legitimate. Over half the country thinks Biden got 81 million votes with half the counties Obama got in 2008 lol

Its an even bigger problem than you have stated. Most of the world has been conned into thinking Biden won. The issue is that the fraud stems from the fact that too many registered voters were allowed access to the ballot box and the GOP has had long standing problems with this issue. They do as much as is possible to suppress low quality voters but its not enough. Democracy has nothing left to offer minority rule and will be stamped out next November, God willing....

Still worth noticing that Biden got 12 million more votes than Obama, with half the number of counties imo 🤷🏿‍♂️

Also only won one of the twenty bellwether counties that have predicted the past presidents for a hundred years. And it goes on and on. They also admitted to rigging it in state media lol

you keep repeating this like it means anything.

the number of counties, in and of itself, is irrelevant. i suspect you know this.

trump won hamilton county in florida 65% to 35%.

biden won allegheny county in pennsylvania 60% to 40%

they both won 1 county so they're tied right?

except hamilton county has a population 13k and allegheny county has a population of 1.23 million.

the fact is that the counties that biden won have a combined population of over 65 million more than the counties trump won.

so harping on and on about the number of counties is meaningless.

for somebody who trumpets the importance of noticing stuff, you're either useless at noticing these basic facts. or you do and you're just pushing a moronic narrative.

alasdair

The fact that this fact bothers you enough to make a drawn out pedantic post says more than anything I ever could tbh

I'm almost positive I've explained this exact thing myself at some point. 🤔

Another question I've still never gotten an answer to:

If they rigged the election in 2020 against trump, why'd they let him win in 2016?

I mean, he lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton, one of the most hated Democrats ever, yet he still won the electoral vote.

It would have been so easy to fudge the numbers in a couple of states to favor Hillary, but I guess they just chose not too. 🤔 The powers that be just decided to give up a golden opportunity to get their girl in? 🤔

Given they are both corrupt billionaires with the same questionable friend circles i think it's crazy to think either Trump or Biden/Clinton would benefit the general public in any way shape or form.

The saying 'two heads of the same snake', is quite literal here.
