Take this for what you will. It's still early and things could change, but it looks as if we have 3 types of possession limits in Canada.
1) 30 g in public, or
2) up to 150 g in public if medical
3) An unlimited amount in a private dwelling or place of production.
A province or territory could reduce the 30 g public possession limit
3 types of cultivation allowed
1) 4 plants for personal use (40 inches in height or less)
2) Medical growing indoors 5 plants/g/day - no height limit
3) Medical growing outdoors 3 plants/g/day - no height limit
