Or US will pull out of Paris climate deal

The White House on Saturday denied reports that the Trump administration is no longer seeking to withdraw from the Paris climate deal.

"There has been no change in the United States' position on the Paris agreement. As the President has made abundantly clear, the United States is withdrawing unless we can re-enter on terms that are more favorable to our country," said White House deputy press secretary Lindsay Walters in a statement.

They NK has a powerful hostage in hands (South Korea, Japan, Guam) it's not like Trump cares about those people but it's a domino effect he needs to be strategic about. However Trump and strategies in the sentence does not add up. You see?

Absolutely. I'm concerned about one speech. I lack words to describe my fear of him being Commander in Chief if anything occurs in NK or other potential flashpoint.

There are no good military options in NK, and there haven't been for awhile unless we had 500,000 troops mobilized immediately to fight North Korea's. Or we abandon our allies, which in today's world is very risky, if one looks only at pragmatism. Other consequences are also to be anticipated.

It's hard to care about what this man does anymore. I'm burnt out. It's only been like eight months and I'm ready to just ignore what he does for the next three years, sad to say it...

He seems to have faded into meaninglessness to some extent . . . but I bet he is itching to burst out with something stupid, reckless, dangerous and meaningless. :\

But I would recall that he is indeed the guy that can push the button. Fuck.

This and this.

Every bit of news I hear about him makes me less and less optimistic about the future. For some brief moments I suspect Trump is being told to be more moderate, at times. But it doesn't take long until he lets his emotions take over. These NK issues are escalating from both sides. This is actually the first time I feel I can say we are dealing with two leaders pretty much alike. Not so good to be compared with NK leader in terms of emotional behavior.

So, how's trump's non-interventionist administration working out?

Oh, it was another lie. What a fucking disaster.

Regarding his UN speech and his rhetoric on NK, it could have been worse. Somehow?

Trump's speech to UN called 'terrifying' and 'delusional' by foreign policy experts

A somewhat lighter look:
The Faces Diplomats Made While Watching Trump's First UN Speech Were Pretty Great

Other interesting tidbits floating around:

1. Trump buttoned his suit and wore a pocket square.

2. Ivanka gave a speech on idontcare to the UN.

3. Chief of Staff General John Kelly's expression was worse than during Trump's Charlottesville white supremacist support statements.
John Kelly looked so distraught during Trump's 'rocket man' speech, and Twitter was like 'same'

4. Yes, Trump did call Kim Jong Un "Rocket Man" in front of the United Nations General Assembly.

I was having such a hard frustrating day yesterday and caught the highlights and it made my day.

Why does anyone think Trump is any less of a diplomat than any of those other phony leaders. He was elected like everyone else. Politicians are basically actors, thats why I love the man, he's like screw guys you're all as phony as me and the more you hate the stronger you make me.

He was elected like anyone else? In most countries you only win with majority popular vote. Second, who says Russia didn't interfere. We don't know that for sure. Third, what about his income taxes showing where the money comes from and if it has any conflicts. Most of leaders of democratic and first world countries wouldn't get that far. Even in developing countries I'd say. So imo he's not there just like anyone else.

You "love" a man who threatens to demolish one entire country killing millions and millions of people, not to mention he's putting South Korea and Japan in imminent danger. This is not just like any leader. He's pretty much alike NK leader, I'll give you that.

Trump's up there starting world war 3 and you guys are still cheering him on.
Thanks for demonstrating once again that trump supporters are absolute hypocrites.
He's so bent - so psychopathic - that clinton looks pretty reasonable by comparison. He's doing this whilst attempting to fuck over every american with another diabolical "healthcare" bill that strips the american people of affordable treatment.

He's a fraud, he's a fascist, he's a fucking disgrace.

This is how fascists operate - they use bigotry and hate to gain support from the less politically discerning members of the population, who "love the man" no matter how much he steals from and cheats them.
Classic demagoguery and manipulation.
This isn't a fucking game.

Well said, Dave, and I'm glad your day is going better.

I think Trump is less of a diplomat than the others, because [Mexico, just to get started; we all know the examples]

Politicians, actors, yeah, "tells it like it is" except never, I'd say Trump is the last person to say he's "phony". He wants to believe so hard that he's a well-loved cultured Manhattanite who hosts Gatsby-like parties, only unlike Gatsby he never shuts up or goes out to the dock. Sadly for him, he's a world-reviled boor who eats well-done steak with ketchup.
