2017 Trump Presidency Thread

Not only inequality. Countries in Europe like Sweden, Norway etc, have been doing great. They took more refugees than they had to but these people were not doing anything harmful to their new land. These people want a new home. When I visit some countries in Europe I see that they are doing great things for education, social programs, universal health. And doing better combating poor communities. You can still experience quality life among ordinary workers. Not to mention culture, arts, roads, trains. Real developed countries with young and clever politicians.

My point is that US is a great country with a lot of amazing people I use to live there and I know how great you can be, but not so much lately.

Like it was said above, "it would be easier to take his comments seriously if he wasn't part of the problem. if he was serious, he'd make his own companies' products in america and employ american workers. he's a hypocrite."
Present day sweden is not a good example of anything, unless you're a fan of rampant violent crime committed by unskilled migrants.

Sure, you can't take location out of the picture, but that doesn't really matter. First of all, people are able to move to areas with better economies. Cities are as large as they are because they are economic centers that draw people to them for work. Because of this, it is preposterous to suggest that all the liberal people in the major cities do not work. Also, while the people who are highly motivated to work leave rural areas and migrate to cities, all the less motivated people left behind compete for a limited number of jobs and therefore there face higher unemployment. By not moving to areas with better economies, these people are at least somewhat complicit in their own poor employment status.
It sort of does imo, you brought up the fact that most low GDP states voted Trump, that seems to imply that the low GDP is due to the states being conservative. California would still have a huge economy if it were run by republicans. Just like the deep south would still have smaller economy if it were run by democrats.

I don't think countries should be run like a private business. I speak from experience. Being a leader of a country requires so much more. You need to handle war affairs, social problems, people you send off to die for a purpose. It's not all about making money, it's not all related to economy. There's so much more.

Meeting with other leaders to make this place safer for all of us you need to have a sense of decency. You need to be generous and altruistic at times, help others who are suffering from misery. I could go on and on writing about other requirements needed from a President other than being good at his business. A country is much more than that. If one can't realise that, I'd just tell you to listen. Listen to history.

People who work at ski resorts are some of the happiest, poorest people I've ever met. I would trade my whole life here to uproot to Taos or the like and make $8.50/hr on the ski patrol. They don't give two fucks about who's president because they're pursuing the purest of American ideals.

Frustrated FOX News Anchor Shepard Smith Drops 8 Minutes Of Epic Truth Bombs On Live TV

"...it's up to people like you, and all the rest of us, to point it out when the president of the united states keeps saying things that are demonstrably, unquestionably, opinion aside, 100% false."

that's not the new york times, or the washington post, or that absolute rag of a news organization npr. that's fox news anchor shepard smith.

but write him off as fake or biased or mainstream as you do with everybody else reporting on the president. at some point, you'll just run out of people to call fake...

Lol! Seriously? A Rupert Murdoch media outlet non partisan? You are deluded. Seriously deluded. I used to work for him and nothing he owns is non partisan.
Overall, they don't show an overwhelming preference for certain politicians/parties. They don't do things like changing candidates original tweets before showing them on air, staging crime scenes with fake police tape, blurring out people's shirts that have certain political slogans on them, editing footage of somebody collapsing to make it look like they stumbled, cutting off the feed of people who criticise a candidate, cutting off the feed of people who joke about them being fake news, cancelling 2nd interviews after minority guest makes good arguments against the democratic candidate, lol. That's just off the top of my head.

Trump might be coming to birmingham when he comes to the UK.
Not sure if it true but aparantly going to a big stadium and charging £10 a ticket to get in.
The money raised will go to help wounded soldiers.
Hope he does come and see what a shithole the pro dominantly muslim areas are becoming.

A major cause in many cases of job loss and outsourcing was certain trade agreements. Just to survive, many American businesses had to adapt by outsourcing. Could that be the reason Trump as well as many others did it?

There are plenty of reasons to criticise Trump that are more clear cut than this one.

you don't have to be a business major to see his hypocrisy.

you're implying that it's ok for him, on one hand, to complain about american jobs bleeding overseas but, on the other hand, to make his own products overseas and employ foreign workers, presumably because he's a business genius?

you can't have your cake and eat it.

Exactly socko, and I don't think this is a partisan fact rather a unfortunate reality. Like the business I work for, it is adapt or go out of business. But I know this doesn't work with the msm/ globalist fake news narrative.

With thirty million American unable to find a job I think it is time to drop the particanship, and time to find a solution that brings back the middle class/ put them back to work.

Socko what are your thoughts on La Pen? I feel like the media is trying to use fake polls there to shape public opinion. Hopefully she wins to help make France great again.

This chart shows the US workforce participation rate. It is compiled by the US bureau of Labor Statistics. It is a more accurate picture of employment than this Unemployment Rate the MSM keeps quoting. The Unemployment Rate is very misleading because it only counts people as unemployed if they hve been out of work for less than 6 months. People who have been out of work for longer are not counted. As you can see, real unemployment is the worst it has been in decades. And the msm ignores this figure for the purpose, I suspect, of misleading the public. It supports Trumps claim that jobs are pouring out of the country.

It links to another site because i cannot copy paste the php chart from the bureau of labor site

if there's nothing wrong with it, why do you use it like it's an insult?

1) link please on the wounded soldiers point (just would be nice, not disbelieving you)

2) prove they are a shithole and give reasons why. Do Muslims like, naturally, to live in shit holes? Does anyone?

3) predominantly is the word you're looking for. Hey, I always like to educate. Plus, I'll bet you a dollar to a dime that if Trump says anything about the "pro dominantly" Muslim areas it will be utterly made up shite.

Just saying bro.

What do you reckon are the chances of him getting shot? I'm interested in bookmaking, that's all....

I always thought the KKK would assassinate Obama so I doubt Trump will get shot unless it's by his own team essentially.
