I read today that an impeachment process has began regarding Trump. I'm interested in what this entails and will continue to tune in
 
Assuming impeachment is a realistic proposition at this point, i simply cannot wait for President Pence............ :p

What a fucking mess/farce/nightmare. My goodness. This whole situation is unbelievable.
 
I read today in F. Times that if that happened Pence would probably go down with him as they were together in this, especially during the campaign.

So to get this clear, there are two instances which could lead to impeachment, being firstly the Russian meddling in the election and secondly perverting the course of justice by requesting that the head of the FBI drop the investigation into this?
 
One person in US predicted exactly how Trump would win, this guy - an University Professor got it right all the way. Spot on!

Well, that same person had also said predicted that this president would be impeached. This interview took place a week or so after Trump was elected and in two other occasions before all this mess started. It was on CNN a couple of times, I can't remember his name though.

3rd possibility: He's impeached for perjury. It assumes that him saying he didn't pressure Comey to drop the Flynn investigation is judged false by congress.

IMO, it's weak - there's reasonable doubt. But it depends on how much of a liability congress believes Trump is.

The worst is that Trump is making a mockery of himself and the world is watching. The most common people in countries all over the world are relating Trump to Americans. And the news not only in US are becoming some sort of daily amusement. I remember people talking about Bush but this is a totally different level of "comedy", so to speak.
 
someone i follow on twitter posed this question a couple of days ago - is it ableist to mock trump?

normally, it probably would be. but he's incredibly dangerous and just an awful person, so i don't care what his neurological deficiencies are.

what do you folks think?
 
Nelson Mandela could have used inspiration like that when he was imprisoned for 20 years. I wonder how many tweets and whining interviews he gave out in that time. Probably not a patch on staunchy boy Trump.

Play it safe and mock his voters. Oh wait, damn.

Until being "just an asshole" is in the DSM, he can take it.


Right now: teetotaling country with no extradition and his own hotels. I don't mind if he stays.

I should clarify: There's a liability that Trump has. There's a liability that impeaching Trump has.

Trump is almost certain not to go quietly into the night. He'll go on the offensive, he'll blame and blame. He'll talk about the swamp, and how career politicians in Washington are trying to force him out.

Remember, the Republicans eat their own young. Every Republican has to survive the rightwing crazy fringe vetting during primaries. Influential sitting Republicans have lost primary challenges.

How popular is Trump among the rightwing crazy fringe? How popular is congress among the rightwing crazy fringe?

in general trump does equate with americans, un-read, uneducated, materialistic, greedy, racist....not sure where you live but the majority of the usa is not like new york or CA.
 
To be fair there are a LOT of people in NY who are as you describe...Trump, as a loud asshole from New York, received the enthusiastic support of the other loud, New York assholes :)

(NY, despite not being my homestate, is a place I'm familiar with since it's where my entire family is originally from)
