Alright I promise I'll be more amicable tomorrow. I've spent 4 days straight Phonebanking and talking to fine upstanding citizens like you Droppers who "ain't no way no how going for no Socialist BS." My patience has run pretty thin.

lol you are out of your element here gm. Though I do appreciate your misguided passion. At the end of the day logic and reason will always trump emotion. Bernie is an old wind bag whom is one dimensional in more ways than one. You cannot possibly think that if you he got to the white house he would get much of anything done. Other than passing some executive orders and turning the scotus into a radical activist court for a generation that is. He is bought like all the rest of them. His claims of getting all his money from small donations is pure hogwash/lies.

you believe that's true of all candidates?
His claims of getting all his money from small donations is pure hogwash/lies.
accusing him of lying is a pretty serious allegation. substantiate that claim please.

even the most cursory look at his funding suggests a huge amount of his money is coming from small donations. e.g.

Bernie Sanders Raised $3 Million in One Day (quoted average donation of just $27)
Bernie Sanders Raises Millions After Call For Donations In New Hampshire Victory Speech (quoted average donation of just $34)

and, from this: center for responsive politics: Candidate Summary, 2016 Cycle:
Source of Funds

Individual Contributions $94,763,672 (98%)
- Small Individual Contributions $67,393,013 (70%)
- Large Individual Contributions $27,370,658 (28%)

who is saying that?

answer: nobody.

perhaps you are confusing (deliberately or otherwise) the study commissioned by the association of american universities - and widely reported late last year - which found that 27.2 percent of female college seniors reported that, since entering college, they had experienced some kind of unwanted sexual contact — anything from touching to rape — carried out by incapacitation, usually due to alcohol or drugs, or by force. (my emphasis).

when you have to exaggerate or fabricate to make your point, you really have no point...

:\

Damn dude did you sleep through 2014-2015? The whole rape culture, dear colleague Obama title IX letter, kangaroo courts in colleges throwing dudes out because "we believe women," etc?

The girl running around with a mattress claiming rape with an abundance of evidence it didn't happen, then getting banged on video cuz she thinks she's an artist?

Jackie Coakley?

I saw the 1/4 number thrown around like it was the gospel truth.

It's slowed down due to lawsuits on deck that could involve major payouts to guys who got thrown out of college and had their names ruined without a real opportunity to defend themselves.

I know where the number came from, I've seen that study.

I'm not gonna sit here and call you a liar, because I'm not certain, but I get the feeling you saw 1/4 thrown around just like I did.

Old news and way behind. He raised $5 million in the 24 hours after the Michigan win. I know because his campaign sent all the emails to his donors with a real-time tracker bar. People donated over $1.5 million in the last 3 hours of the night just to meet the goal set out by his campaign managers.

Bernie supporters aren't fucking around.

all that does is prove droppers even more wrong.

If socialism is so bad, how come certain socialist countries in Europe have such a higher quality of life?

Also, one president sure can do a lot. Clinton had already given us NAFTA which quickly sent jobs overseas. Now she wants to give us TPP and increase H1B visas which will drive the middle class to extinction.

Bush the younger and his controller dick Cheney gave us Iraq and most of us realize that was a bad thing.

I don't understand why southern African americans voted for Clinton in such staggering numbers. Her husband cut the heart out of the welfare policies in place since the new deal. Then he put in place laws that imprisoned 1 in 3 of there men folk. I just don't fucking get it other then they have a reflexive dislike of old white men.

Southern dems are more conservative than the average dem, thus they voted for hilLiary because shes more conservative than bernie. A lot of people don't fully realize how weak most dems are in these parts. In the south you basically you got your

Republicans:
open racists/fascists (trump voters)-->White
extreme right wing bigots (mostly trump voters)-->White
non-racist conservative republicans (Cruz voters) -->White
religious zealots/evangelicals (Carson/Huckabee/Santorum voters but have sold out to Trump/Cruz about equally)--->Predominately White
virtually extinct non-religious moderate conservatives (Kasich/Rubio voters)-->Overwhelmingly White
virtually extinct economically conservative socially tolerant pseudo libertarians (Ron/Rand Paul voters)-->White

Democrats:
closeted racists (trump/hillary voters)-->White
non-racist conservative democrats (hillary voters)-->Predominately White
politically ignorant somewhat tolerant church goers (hillary voters)-->Black

politically active liberals,
environmentalists,
feminists,
anti war,
activists of all stripes
youth 18-29
(bernie voters)--> All races

If you combine all republicans, evangelicals, and conservative democrats...thats probably 80% of southern voters. The other 20% are there but pretty much irrelevant.

While all you Bernie fans throw good money after bad because minorities won't vote for an old white man who happens to be a complete pussy, those of us paying attention are hunkering down for the European race war. There is an apocalyptic battle coming very soon, sorry you won't be getting your utopia and throwing people like me in that gulag.

The more the media attacks trump for the people whining about going to trump rallies to protest and getting beat up the more people get angry and want to vote for trump. Many of these groups like black live matter are rooted in hatred which makes them even more abhorrent. Here in Nashville blm protested the public library bc they wouldn't let them hold an event that did not allow white people to attend. Do these people really think they are helping their cause whatever that might be? Hilary is going to have a really tough time stopping the voter turn out for trump if he gets the nomination and keeps toning down the baffoonary. Lol Gm I don't own a crappy night club so I am the working poor. Making just enough to be concerned about the efficacy of government spending is probably 40k to 120k for a single person and a bit more for a family IMO. Anything less than 40k a year than you might not care as much being closer to the poverty line.

not only that but a higher standard of living.

here are the top 10 countries in the world by standard of living (source: u.n. hdi):

norway
australia
switzerland
denmark
netherlands
germany
ireland
united states
canada
new zealand

the top 6 are stable since the previous year. ireland and nz moved up. u.s.a. and canada moved down.

how can countries which might broadly be described as left-leaning/progressive/whatever possibly have such a great standard of living, access to free, universal health care, focus on life/work balance with generous vacation allowances, relatively low unemployment, etc. because, if u.s. republican politicians (and certain 'logical' 'free-thinkers' online) are to be believed it's absolutely impossible.

except it's not. but don't let facts get in the way of the lies and nonsense.

pop quiz: what is the only developed country in the world without a single legally required paid vacation day or holiday? answer: [spoil]the u.s.a (source: that bastion of liberal, lefty socialism, forbes.com)[/spoil]

if that's true, you should have no trouble coming up with a few examples. thanks.

It's just frustrating. The most recent polls in the March 15th primaries show huge leads for Clinton because of 55+ demographic. 8 out of every 10 old person in Florida polled as a Hillary vote.

I can't wait for more old people to die off.

Basically, if you had been lucky enough to be born into those countries, you wouldn't be worrying about how close to the poverty line you are. You'd have a better house, more money in the bank, better food, a better education, etc. None of the things Trump appeals to would matter.

GM, when they were young, the showed much promise and had an interest in making the world a better place, but now they are complacent. They have their multiple houses, social security, retirement savings, and they are happy with the status quo that Mrs. Clinton promises their generation. They have another 10 or 20 years of life, and their comfortable standard of livign is guaranteed. They don't care how the status quo is harming everybody under the age of 60. There is a reason they are called the "Me Generation." Our generation doesn't have a chance in their world.
Generational stereotypes are bad. There are always many exceptions and nobody perfectly fits the stereotype. But after observign them for a lifetime, some strong impressions stand out about them collectively. Old people grew up during the most prosperous time in American history. College tuition was virtually free, a house cost $100 down, good jobs were plentiful straight out of highschool, everybody got vacation time and a pension, union protection, and the world was a simpler place. They never knew hardship. They never knew the threat of poverty and homelessness that is very real for the younger generations. The world has changed, the Amercian Dream is unattainable for an entire generation. and nobody in power cares.
This is why the bernie or bust nuclear option is a logical choice. The future of young Americans has been stolen and they don't have a chance under the status quo. Also, they have nothing to lose. If it comes down to Hillary versus Trump, the future is bleak. it's a vote for status quo and guaranteed life long poverty for non-baby boomers (and long grinding wars in the middle east under Mrs Cliton) versus literal nuclear war with Trump. Either choice is bad, but with no future and nothing to lose, what do you do? With the nuclear option, everybody else gets to feel the pain, things will be disrupted, and we can finally fix things.
