2016 American Presidential Campaign

Sure was. And he STILL came out the winner. Exit polls showed Latinos considered Bernie the winner of that debate by a 2-to-1 margin.

P.S. both candidates had rallies in Tampa today. Bernie's is actually still going on. Here was Hillary's earlier today:

Why the fuck did Univision host a debate, with questions in Spanish no less?

If you're old enough to vote (18) and don't speak English, I only see a couple scenarios:

A) You are here illegally (they don't give you a green card if you don't speak the language)

B) You were born here and through some combination of laziness, stupidity and being of a criminal mindset would rather be unable to compete in the workforce than learn English.

I think this was mostly a competition for the illegal vote.

I have zero doubts Hillary's campaign and the DNC are keeping close tabs on recent deaths in any state that has no voter ID law. Then having bilingual social workers or whatever title they give them coach them up on pronouncing the name and address

Fuck Univision. It's owner has donated over $2 million to Hillary over the past 10 years.

Someone that was at the Tampa rally just posted this panoramic. I was in awe. So fucking beautiful.

And CNN showed like 15 seconds from Bernie's live speech and then went back to coverage on Trump. Unfortunately for them Bernie doesn't need the media. His supporters ARE his media.

Sometimes in feel like you're misunderstanding a few things droppers.

What's so bad about socialized medicine or education?

The whole show gonna pay for this spiel seems a bit misguided. If we didn't spend billions of dollars a year to keep people locked up and didn't funnel tons of money into perpetuating war, you'd be surprised at what we had left over.

But systems are prone to use and abuse, so it's not flawless, but it's a step in the right direction. We get taxed to death...and what do we get from it?

I don't get welfare...but I'd like to receive some adequate mental health care for one. You have to have social programs.

The current system is broken...who's gonna fix it? Trump? Ok.

This sign had me cracking up earlier. I wonder if a Trump Kasich ticket will happen against old Hilary.

Would be more accurate if the note said "I took a square inch of one of your signs because I see you have 10,000 of them in your yard, and my family will live a much better life with the square inch I took."

By far the most ironic part of the resistance to Bernie of people like Droppers is that they've somehow been basically brainwashed into defending people so vastly richer than they'll ever be. Are you really that concerned about the entrepreneurial spirit of America and the threat to industry competition that you completely disavow Bernie's "Socialist" ideas?

You're fucking poor dude. You're poor as shit. A lot of people are. 1-in-5 children in this country live under the poverty level, which is like $17k a year for a family of FOUR. That's fucking disgusting for the richest country or nation in the history of humanity.

So what exactly? You think Bernie's plans are going to what? Take the "hard-earned" money that you don't even fucking have to give to the "poor?" You think it's "unamerican" to make the wealthy pay more in taxes to give to people who don't have anything? Do you even know what his tax plan entails? The lowest tax bracket to see an increase is people who make A QUARTER OF A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR. They make $1 Million every fucking four year at whatever job they work. Meanwhile there's almost 100 million people that can barely pay their rent, electric bills, or buy food for their families.

And that's not even getting into the FACT that those rich people got rich by benefiting from a system that exploits the poor and working classes to make the wealth they have. Because every politician since fucking.... I don't know? Eisenhower? has been getting bribed by the rich and big corporations to pass laws to fuck over the everyday people they rely on to keep their corporate machines running.

What the fuck is someone like you defending the upper end of these tax brackets even thinking? Are you really that stupid? It's like Stockholm Syndrome times a thousand. PEOPLE WHO MAKE MORE IN 1 YEAR THAN YOU'LL EVER MAKE IN YOUR LIFETIME ARE RAPING YOUR ENTIRE EXISTENCE AND EVERY SECOND OF EVERY DAY YOU LIVE IS INFINITELY MORE SHITTY THAN IT NEEDS TO BE BECAUSE OF THEM. Wake the fuck up dude. You are by far your own worst enemy. Bernie would make the lives of people like you SO much better and you somehow can't even understand that.

The disconnect between fucking morons in this country and the people who are of at least slightly above average intelligence is ridiculous. I keep eagerly awaiting the baby boomer generation and older to jut die off so the younger more open-minded generations can take over but then relatively young motherfuckers like Droppers remind me that even when the old stubborn conservative people are gone we still have to figure out how to handle people like him.

In any other election if you make less than $100,000 a year and are Republican you're fucking stupid.

In this election if you don't have AT LEAST a few million dollars in the bank and are considering voting for ANYONE other than Bernie Sanders, you're so fucking stupid your stupidity is helping destroy this country.

and there are lots of reasons besides what your projected income would be during their presidency to base who you vote on, and bernie is by far the best on pretty much all of them. not nuking or polluting humanity into extinction for example.

Yep this is a classic left argument in that there is no argument other than name calling and promotion of speculative claims that the big bad rich people are out to get us. I for one agree there is disparity among the classes and it is growing in a tremendous way. I think maybe figuring out ways to better tax passive incomes, raise capitol gains rates in certain circumstances, etc might be a better way to achieve higher tax dollars to fund helpful programs. The problem is my mindset will never 'die out' as people who are conservative just simply do not see the government as the answer more so the problem. The government doesnt create jobs, wealth, heck at the end of the day it does very little with any efficiency,if the private sector is the bar. Bernies marginal tax increases do not bother me as much as his overall platform that the answer can only come from the growth of government and that we are all victims. This is a guy that has never really done anything out side of the government. In a way he has jumped on the band wagon of the social justice warrior movement perpetuating the idea that we are all victims in one way or another. Ill tell you this, figuring out way to tax and penalize corporations into paying 'their fair share' isnt going to create jobs. What it may do is bring more money into government coffers to be spent is an ineffective way, but where does that really even get us. Ill agree with Bernie that education is very important, but promising "free" education is irresponsible and down right dishonest pandering to the young and uneducated. Working for the EPA really ruined the little bit of faith I had in government. i know not all agencies are bad but at the end of the day there is very little accountability for much of anything and the promises of a bureaucrat are worth less than those of a greedy crony capitalists imo

With as much due respect as it deserves, I completely and sincerely don't think you have a solid enough grasp on economics and politics to truly understand the differentiation between a candidate like Bernie Sanders and basically.... anyone that's run for president in the last 50 years.

And that's not necessarily a slight towards you. I happened to get interested in my very late teens in economics when the markets collapsed in 2008. Before then I didn't know anything about the market or anything that affected it, but I figured with everything crashing like it was and having faith that eventually we'd recover, I could make some money by buying cheap stocks and just holding on to them.

That was almost 10 years ago. I've been trying to keep my finger on the pulse of everything that effects the stock market, which is basically every single aspect of the economy rolled into one driving force, since then. My interest in how actual Federally-elected officials and their behaviors influenced the economy took a good 5 years before I even noticed them. But after long enough, you can't learn any more about economics without learning a lot about domestic and foreign politics. It's almost a side-requirement after awhile.

So I'm 10 years in. That sure as fuck doesn't make me an expert. But it makes me EXTREMELY confident when I have to tell someone like you that Bernie Sanders and his policies are the best chance you have at a better life than you'll probably ever get between now and the day you die.

So, I can and will tear apart anything you have to say about Bernie's platform. If you want to attack his platform on education, healthcare, taxes, the environment, "expanding government," "big bad Socialism." or anything else you better be ready to get into the nuts and bolts of it all. Because the headlines and articles you've skimmed over on the interwebs aren't going to provide nearly enough tangible facts about what we're talking about for you to last for more than a few posts.

Your threatening allegations of a better grasp of economics does nothing for me other than make me chuckle a bit. All I was essentially saying in my last post was you LEAN Keynesian economic theory I would venture to say where I do not. We are in two different camps that have to agree to disagree essentially. I will say the fact that you place a mythical amount of power with the presidency and what the office is able to accomplish; diminishing my confidence in your actual grasp of the things you purport.. :\

Liberals always pull the intelligence card.

Then they pull off feats of doublethink that boggle the mind.

Most recent example I can think of:

A quarter of woman in college will be raped. Simply not true it's less than 1%.

Angela Merkel invites anyone from the third world into Europe for free money and housing. Now there are hordes of savages running around Europe raping women. Liberals turn a blind eye.

If you are a white man the only choice is Trump. I would encourage everyone to vote for him but the white guilt/white hate movement is out of control and Sanders or Clinton would go all in. If I get a knock on my door over some bullshit I won't play any games

who is saying that?

answer: nobody.

perhaps you are confusing (deliberately or otherwise) the study commissioned by the association of american universities - and widely reported late last year - which found that 27.2 percent of female college seniors reported that, since entering college, they had experienced some kind of unwanted sexual contact — anything from touching to rape — carried out by incapacitation, usually due to alcohol or drugs, or by force. (my emphasis).

when you have to exaggerate or fabricate to make your point, you really have no point...
