Series was shit but game 7 was what makes the baseball playoffs so great. The tension and anxiety of waiting inning after inning, play after play, pitch after pitch. Nothing beats it. I can only imagine what Royals and Giants fans were feeling. (Well I actually know because Im a Yankees fan)
And goddamn, Baumgarner is amazing. One earned run in 5 WS games for his career and 3-0 with a 0.42 ERA and a WHIP of 0.500 or so in this series. Ridiculous and he is only 25.
Congrats Giants fans, but you better watch out for the high-powered Yankees bats next year.
