Yeah exactly what i thought.

Also it does make a mockery of the 4th place = CL Football . In theory yes it does , but it could amount to one tie . As it did for Everton the year they got 4th & then got fukin hammered by Vilarreal .

Yeah i saw Fenerbache v Porto it was at Estádio do Dragão we won 3-1 it was in 2008 i think . The year when they had Roberto Carlos .

Looks like Arsenal are still gonna have to play this tie despite Fenerbache n their match fixing stuff

exactly plus the leagues that have 34 or 30 games like germany and portugal can always be at a disadvangate as they are usually a couple of weeks behind in terms of preseason preperation
uefa should just push this round of games back to september when each league is in full swing and then play the group matchdays a week later

we all know they wont though as it takes the useless cunts 3 or 4 weeks to sort out the matchdays for tv rights so that 2 english or 2 spanish teams play on tues/wednesday so they can maximise tv revenue
 
I see that Ipswich Town have had our usual shit start to the season,consistent at least.
Here's hoping we have a better one than last season.
 
AC Milan got PSV, unless they get 3 penalties gifted to them they're probably going to crash out, they're at the lowest for the past few decades. Couldn't even seal the deal for Honda, it was only like 5 mil.

Hope Arsenal lose against the Turks

Inter are a joke now, cant even get into Europe. Milan are not that much better, Would not be totally shocked if they actually lost that tie to PSV

Rafa is at Napoli so they will do bugger all next season
Fiorentina seem like a team that could surprise many this year , I bet I would get good odds on them for Serie A

Apart from Juve the whole league is very poor now IMHO

The whole Honda thing is a joke, he would have been nowt more than a t shirt sales signing. rank average player IMHO

I said n i'm sure we all agreed that he would leave for CL .

Liverpool crying about not having enough time to buy a replacement it's all bollox . i have no sympathy for either party it's what this game has come down to to theses days you can't pretend to be classy or claim to have a good reputation to protect . It's money full stop .

UTD 2-0 to Sevilla at HT having a bit of a shocker, 1 win so far in preseason. Not even funny chances either, getting dominated at times much like last season.

Charity Shield in 2 days though cant be going all out.

It's only preseason but a draw with AIK and losing at home to Sevilla along with losing to Yokahama and a Thai XI and a draw with Osaka would not fill me with confidence for the new season.

Then again none of these games involved premiership referees

@ TLM It dosent give me much confidence either, but we had just a shitty pre-season last year, drawing and losing a majority of the games, then we won the league and got far in the CL so I cant really comment yet. 30,000 empty seats yeah, its a friday night, finishing at half 9. It was full of kids, most out on the town no doubt, I dont think even he thought it would half fill.

Yada yada yada, PL referees gave us the title last year did it, boring that slander now. Fergies gone now anyway, so surely there is no one paying them, also did us great favours in the CL. Play fair TLM :)

Mendo The preseason friendlies mean little or nothing to me either, Scolari won every single one and was fired.
Real Madrid beat us 3-1 couple days ago, but when you see the amount of substitutions you realise they are just glorified kickabouts aimed at building up the Stateside fan bases .
We got Roma at some ungodly hour later tonight in Washington DC and then thankfully it's onto the real stuff

PS Ronaldo still looks like he could get a game , probably still weighs less than Romario on that pic :)

Nah fuk it i'm a look at this a good signing for The Irons , i mean Liverpool thought it he warranted £20 mil so £5 mil seems reasonable for a England .

The real worry is that we only seem capable of buying The Bin Dippers cast offs .

^ He never really warranted that price tag in the first place though, and it was a number of bad english buys from the dippers, we will see anyhow sam will get him whipping them long balls in. :D

Luis Gustavo of Bayern is on the market, not suprised with the amount of quality in the CM area they have, anyway Arsenal seem to be very interested and his agent says he has interest from spain also.

I will be very annoyed if Moyes dosent enter the race, seems like a quality DCM who puts a few away also, we need some depth in that area. Cleverley and Anderson are just not upto the job, both are inept. Cleverly or Anderson wouldnt even enter the top 15 Midfielders currently, not good enough. IF carrick gets injured, we are fucked.
