Here we go again for another season.some big teams down in the championship about 10 teams have a chance of promotion imo.

Tomorrow its the CS with UTD v CITY.its a pity T£V£$ is not playin for city as it would be nice to hear both fans take the piss out of him.

i reckon UTD are the team to beat for the title again with Chelsea-Spurs and city putting up a challange.
about 7 or 8 teams will struggle with villa and newcastle in that group.

dont give a fcuk about scottish "football" as its shite.

i know we have a few utd-city-pool-hammers on the site anybody else here.
 
So its that time of the year again already.
West Ham are in the championship this year , which actually looks like a pretty tough league, staring 2moro with Cardiff City.
If u look at the Championship fixtures theirs far more flash point games with potential for violence than the Prem. What with Millwall , Leeds n some massive clubs down their.

I'm gonna watch Bristol City V Swindon on tuesday , can't wait to see Paolo Di Canio on the touch line , hes barking mad and a West Ham legend.

For the Prem i think i'm gonna go with Man City for no other reason than to piss of Man Utd fans and i think they have some great players Aguerro et al also i like their manager , one of the best players i 've ever seen.
 
You all know who I've got down for the title this year. Should be an interesting season though.

Hate to say it but I think City might put in a proper shift this year. Either that or they'll crumble and finish 6th, which would be funnier.

Wave at Paolo for me. He likes to wave back. With his arm all stiff, like.
 
Bristol City Swindon match has been postponed cos of the kiddies rioting , n the police won't have enough to do the match and keep public order.
 
Cant wait for the season to start I was a bit dubious about fergie not signing a creative mid yet after we got overrun most games in that position last season but preseason has given me a bit of hope, still wouldnt mind sneijder but for a good price nothing more than £28, anyway hope to see more of cleverley
 
sneijder is on a reported £250,000 a week at inter , and the Italian taxes are far lower.
He will have to take a wage cut but i've got a feeling that he will be turning out for Man U this season.
Nani could potentially be huge for Man U this season.
 
Yeah but inter are looking to sell him, if they want to sell him then he will have to take a wage cut, I would have preffered modric or nasri over him but nasri seems to be in it for the cash and modric has his heart on chelsea, yeah nani seems to be getting better and better lets hope it continues..

sneijder was reported to have stayed in england after the dutch players had left for a meeting but now the games cancelled not sure what will happen now.

Great start to the season for my beloved Ipswich Town. Got a much better squad this season, have to have a decent shot at promotion this season.
 
being havin a lot of crazy funny dreams since festival last wend.last night had one where king kenny walked away again.

i reckon if suarez has a poor run then you are in big trouble.4th-8th place i reckon.brought in a few new players but not enough and some of them not good enough.
 
Dono man. This is the first summer in a long time I've been happy with how we've done business. Downing, Henderson, I rate em.
 
Quite confifent about Chelsea's potential this year.

Lukaku is going to be a beast as well.

Downing a good player nothing spectacular how much another £20 mil

All 3 of those signings are huge risks and vastly overpriced , Downing is the only one with any real experience . None have European experience

Suarez n Gerrard will be the 2 most important 4 Liverpool imo.

Alot of folk rekon they have a good chance , i agree.

As i mentioned , Iwas really looking forward to seeing Di Canio's Swindon take on Bristol city 2nite , got a ticket but its been postponed , i hope i can make the re arranged date i'll be fuming if i can't.

You're dead right that they're way way overvalued but thats the way it seems to be going. Especially england players. 35mil for Carroll was insanity, but we'll have to wait and see, I like him, great in the air, works hard, good feet. Crazy money though.

Stevie needs to get himself fit before he can do anything and I'm really worried he'll never be 100% again.

Needs to start acting like a Pro Athlete n stop the Drinking sessions n partying .
He's getting paid to do a job that requires a high level of dedication, fitness and self discipline. Lets hope he can start to behave properly off the pitch.
