2011-2012 football thread

I thought it was a very entertaining game. Fair result too i think even though we has the better chances to clinch it at the end.

Yes i'm that rare bread of Football Fan that actually watch matches in a Football stadium , and not prem ones .
It was a decent game City should have won but squandered many chances & lost 2-1.
West Ham are Flying , 4 - 0 i here we won.
 
Chelsea 3-1 up on Everton.they got a good one in Mata.quality player imo,think arsenal were interested in him but did there usual stall/wait till next year etc.

i belive they were also looking at smalling n jones but moved to slow.

F***ing Hammers, you'd think they'd have the decency to let Pompey get a consolation and not screw up me treble. Maybe the slapper on the board offers the defence a Knoxy for a clean sheet ( no pun intended ).

My treble went to shit!

Thought Liverpool game was shit for an hour. Utd leaving all them players on the bench ruined it for the neutral. Ruined the fantasy football aswell.

Well, you could shoot her afterwards..has she done such a good job of airbrushing her past you're not curious about her special talents? Old chicken still make good soup, methinks.
 
Well we beat Bohemians on their own patch 1 0 in the semi final of the cup for the second year running, and once again the goal was scored by a centre half, poor game though not like last year.

I am currently curing my sorry soul with pints of Guinness in Hardagons of Sligo, one of the finest examples of a Victorian public house in pristine condition anywhere.
 
Richard Bevan of the League Managers Association has said that Aisian and American owners of EPL clubs wish to have promotion and relegation ended so that existing franchises would retain top flight status in perpetutity. Impossible you say, well I think that customers and owners of the sucessful franchises will be happy with the arrangement and there is fuck all the other clubs can do about it.
 
Telford started well in our first season back in the Conference, but now we seem to be getting sucked towards a relegation fight. To be expected really though, as we're one of the few part-time clubs in the league

What kind of gates do ye get?
 
Bath City get appx 600 in the Confrence occasionally 1500 /2000 for a cup tie or a derby.
When Bristol Rovers had to use Twerton Park cos they were homeless they managed to squeeze 11,000 in their this was b4 the Taylor report obviously.
 
Arent Bath Ken Loach's team; and Shane Meadows supports Notts County, is there a tradition of indepenently minded British film makers supporting teams from the lower echelons. I dont think Terence Davis likes football, who does Mike leigh support?

Yes indeed they are , when he did "looking for Eric " it was premiered in Randalls the bar a/ Clubhouyse at Twerton Park , named after the legendary Ian Randall , even got Cantonna down their.
