swim just 4 50mg tramadol pills a little over 60 minutes ago and claims he has felt nothing. how long does tramadol usually take to kick in?

swim's tolerence to hydros is about 80mg to feel good.

No need for "swim", its not allowed here.

Tramadol usually peaks around 2-3 hours as it has to be converted into O-Dem(M1). I'd wager if you have a tolerance around 80 mg hydro all that tramadol will do is stave off WDs for around 6-9 hours. You might.. Might.. Notice a slight mood lift, maybe extra energy. Unless your a very very good metabolizer of tramadol with that tolerance it's unlikely you will sense what your expecting.

With that tolerance buprenorphine might not give you that warmth, either.

Do not try to exceed 400 mg of tramadol in 24 hrs, it can cause seizures. It's been said that the best way to get the most from tramadol is not to take all at once but rather stagger your dose. I.e., take initial dose of 100-150mg wait a hour then take 50mg more than another hour take 50mg. Another side not regardless of how weak tram might be, nobody who does not have a tolerance should take 150mg at once then another 100 mg. I used that example expecting the person to have a decent tolerance. Also be mindful of seratonin syndrome as tramadol works on Sera and Nor-ep.

I would never mess with Tramadol recreationally if you already have an opiate tolerance. Reason being, the amount you would need to feel anything for most people (unless you're one of the 10% who metabolize the drug super efficiently) greatly increases the chances of having a seizure. The daily cutoff is 400mg of Tramadol, but keep in mind, this isn't assuming being taken as one dose. It assumes you're dosing throughout the day as you would if you were prescribed it. Taking 400mg of Tramadol at once has caused seizures in people, hell it's happened at 200mg at once.

Some people have taken over 1g of Tramadol at a time and been fine (really, really stupid IMO), and others have had grand mal seizures at 200mg doses. In my opinion, stay the fuck away from Tramadol unless you're using relatively small doses to stave off withdrawal from regular opiates. It's a totally sketchy drug that has bitten many people in the ass.

I took a mini seizure on tramadol and I hadn't taken anywhere near 400mg at once, I have a tolerance to benzos and opi's and everything, listen to people when they talk about tramadol seizures, only thing tramadol can be used for is potentiating something like codeine and I would never take tramadol without valium, stay safe ;)

I'm in the 10% that metabolize Tramadol better than the general populous, but even then 200mg is a threshold dose.
Stick to hydro, or get off the opiods all together.

Option two is the best bet.

This^.

I would strongly advise you against abusing tramadol due to it's tendency to induce seizures especially when you do what you did and took a bunch at once without researching it first.
