Amsterdam sounds just fine to me , thirty minutes to the airport then about 75 minutes flying off plane onto train 30 minutes your in Amsterdam quicker than getting to London nearly for us.
The point made about BLers being a troop of disorganised good for nothings while not representative of every BLer is nonetheless largely the case I suspect (me included) Still worth a shot and who knows what'll be happening in 2009 we'll all bi in fucking jail or have had chips (electronic ones) inserted into our brains for the good of society and ourselves. Hopefully by then we';ll have some money. A good idea though as far as ideas go, well done Dr Seuss.

I've only been to Wagamamas twice but I never remember it being greasy. It was a nice, warm bowl of soup to fill me up on a cold London night :)

It sleeps 73 people in 21 rooms at a cost of about £18 each person a night. They owe me a favour so I'm sure I could get a discount for us.

I know plenty of other places, larger or smaller.

i would possibly be a little concerned about a guest appearance from the local drug enforcement agency of whatever country the meetup was held in.
 
Eastern europe, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal sound good to me. Sure I'd come if it was somewhere like that.

I could only save $10/week if I *never* wanted to go out.. my livelihood is based paycheck to paycheck and that's not going to change until I get out of college. :(
 
hm, that castle looks very cool. i wouldn't mind going to poland instead of amsterdam. only problem may be supplies of this and that like sound systems etc.
 
Supplies would be no problem, well not much of a problem and certainly not for the mainstream stuff anyway. Sound system would be no problem at all, a good mate of mine organises concerts by the likes of Massive Attack and Bjork so I doubt a system for a 100 person party will be a problem. Local DEA? What DEA? The nearest office would be about 200 miles from that place and if the right supplier is chosen then they'd take care of legal issues.

We could do a castle tour party. Here are other castles with hotels within a two hour drive of Reszel:

In a place which is called 'anger' in Polish. Castle sleeps 150 people. Town is 7,000 people and is the biggest for a good 50km in any direction.

Biggest castle in Europe. Local LEO very tolerant. If the Gumball rally can go there and be very anti-social and have nobody arrested then I'm sure we could go there, be very very social and have nobody arrested

Not actually a castle but instead Hitler's house from 1941 to 1944. Former SS officers' accommodation now turned into a cheap hotel. Can there be many better places to drop acid while on the comedwn from hell?

And we could finish off in Hell. Well, in Hel anyway, it's a sleepy little fishing village:

That is actually one of my plans for the next few years, whether it comes off or not is a different matter but that has been one of my ideas for a while now, buy some disused warehouse type building in Amsterdam and turn it into a ticket only event place :)
