2009-2010 fantasy football (NFL)

I'd probably go with Addai. Maybe Williams if you believe all the hype about Miami's run game.

I haven't bothered posting in this thread because I've been getting crushed. Lost my last 4 games. :|

Hey Bluelight. I play lots of fantasy football. What about you?

If so, who would you start for week 8 out of these 3 running backs?

- Ricky Williams vs. NYJ
- Ray Rice vs. DEN
- Joseph Addai vs. SF

Thanks,

Chairman
Definitely Ray Rice. Willis McGahee taking away touches hasn't been an issue for the last 2-3 games... Not to mention he catches well. Also, Denver is at the bottom of the league if we're talking about rush yds/g.

I wouldn't start Williams. He got 3 of his last 5 td's in one game and didn't do much against the Jet's stingy D last time they played. He also shares with Ronnie Brown, who will get most of the touches.

I don't know what Addai is doing this year.

I'll be starting Ray Rice and Ronnie Brown though. I'll also be starting Buffalo's D instead of the Jet's.

So, what happened?

I'm not sure whether I should start Donovan McNabb(vs Dallas) or Aaron Rodgers(vs Tampa Bay). I've been starting Rodgers, mostly due to the fact that even with his shitty line, he's getting his fantasy points, but right now I'm not so sure he'll play the full game with TB. I could see him benched after putting up a few points, as he's got a few nagging injuries.

And I'm not so sure about which rb's to start(other than Ray Rice.) I tentatively have Rice, Tomlinson, and Ronnie Brown(as w/r) in. Marion Barber and Sproles are on the bench.

Just checking in to see how your guys' seasons went. I play next weekend for a spot in the Bowl, and if I win, the bowl itself in week 16. I ended the regular season as the highest scoring team in the league. I attribute it solely to one man, my dawg:

Chris Johnson was a beast last year. He's looking to be even nastier this year now that Tennessee's coaches are getting sick of Lendale White's off-field antics. Mark my words, Chris Johnson is going to blow away overvalued backs' like Michael Turner and Brian Westbrook this year.

my bowl is next week and im in it. i did terrible all season until 2 weeks ago, then my players started getting hot (took long enough). hopefully all will go well.

Too many question marks on Min. offense which leads defense to focus on AP
( damn is he a stud though)

I am going with Turner #1 all the way because of complete offense.

Sleeper - Chris Henry, you heard it here first.

I had to bump my prediction from back in Aug. cuz he sure is sleeping.

Damn.

1st playoff game this week, bowl game next week. Last team to make it in, so I'm playing the #1 seed in the league. Fingers crossed, but it doesn't look like I'll have a shot, unless some of his players try imitating Chris Henry before their games. :(

RIP, though.
