2009-2010 fantasy football (NFL)

Chris Johnson was a beast last year. He's looking to be even nastier this year now that Tennessee's coaches are getting sick of Lendale White's off-field antics. Mark my words, Chris Johnson is going to blow away overvalued backs' like Michael Turner and Brian Westbrook this year.

Quoted for the motherfuckin truth. He had more points today than Michael Turner, Brian Westbrook, Maurice Jones Drew, and Vincent Jackson COMBINED.

197 yards rushing with 2 TDs, one of them for 91 yards.

87 receiving yards with 1 TD which went for 67 yards.

He completely blew the record in our league for most fantasy points in a game by a player(previously held by Drew Brees) out of the water today.

Straight Nasty. =D

^ dude... johnson was off the hook, but what about the performance by frank gore??? the guy in our league who has him won by 90 points. unheard of. granted he also has andre johnson, marquis colston, and fred jackson.

i was just happy with dallas clark's performance. i was down by 10 at the start of tonight. the guy i'm playing had nobody left, i had reggie wayne and dallas clark (good odds for me), and clark starts off with an 80 yard TD to all but assure me the win. he ended up scoring me 34 points. i'm now 2-0 which is good going up against the guy who has drew brees (my biggest fear going into this week!).

Yeah Gore and Dallas Clark lit it up. I wouldn't worry about Brees this week. The Bills will handle him. =D

2-0 so far. Trying to make a few waiver pickups but I won't know if they go through until tomorrow.

i may have STILL worded that poorly. :D

in week two, i played against the guy with brees. unless you knew that's what i meant. so in other words... good luck to your bills, but if they can't hold him down, it's no sweat off my back. ;)

Phew! I barely squeaked out a win this week, but 1.3 points. 3-0 baby =D

Of course next week I have to play against the only other undefeated team and both of my star wideouts and my kicker are on BYES. Crossing my fingers!

i'll hold out hope for ya, buddy!

i'm the only undefeated team in my league right now, 3 teams are 2-1, and 4 teams are 1-2. i even played braylon this week! :D

i figured it's about time for him to have one of those "breakout" weeks before falling back into obscurity by fault and marion barber was unlikely to play so i threw braylon in the flex position in hopes he'd have a good week (yes i know, the browns played the best defense in the league).

having the ravens defense, i figured if braylon did bad, chances are, i also would be doing good. i didn't even need monday night to pull off my win as i had it locked away early sunday afternoon before indiana (i have clark and wayne) even played!

next week i'm projected to get stomped.

Fuck. I lost by 0.7 points in one league where I had Rodgers and Co. almost bring me back from a 40+ pt. deficit...tied in another league because of the final plays of the Pack/Vikes game. The Jared Allen sack at the end and the Crosby field goal cost me the win. Bah. At least I didn't lose the matchup I suppose.

Gah that sucks. I remember losing a game by less than a point last year in a league where teams score 120+ points a game. I was PISSED.

Fantasy Football Picks -- Help!!!

Hey Bluelight. I play lots of fantasy football. What about you?

If so, who would you start for week 8 out of these 3 running backs?

- Ricky Williams vs. NYJ
- Ray Rice vs. DEN
- Joseph Addai vs. SF

Thanks,

Chairman

thanks generic.

so you all think r. rice really won't do anything against denver? i thought he'd get shut down against Minnesota as well, but we all see what happened with that. i won big time that week.

I'm having trouble picking between rice, addai, and r. williams (miami) for running backs this week. who would you choose?
