It expired in 1994; don't ask how I got it .. I'm just wondering if it will hurt me if I decide to take it. I'm aware they lose potency over time, but some some say they still last even after 20 years. I could care less is it doesn't work, I just don't want to die.

It also has Tylenol in it .. Dang I wanna just take them but don't wanna die :/ lol

oxycodone and tylenol will still be good in 100 years*... just take it

* if not stored in boiling acid or a swamp

It will be sub-potent and not really do anything. Smell it and if it smells like vinegar, the Tylenol is bad. Throw it away and get a fresh one.

FWIW Darvon capsules dating from 1969 and consumed by me in 1993 still produced full effects. I could tell because my stepmom always kept some back in the 1970's and I had "borrowed" more than a few over the years. Pharmaceuticals are very stable chemicals that can last forever when protected from exposure to light and high temps. Freezing doesn't seem to affect them though. There are of course exceptions.
