I did some research yesterday here about Kadian (time release morphine). I was just Rx'd 7 of these to see if they'd help with my back/disc pain issues.

Anyway, these are time release balls in the little capsules. 20 mg. After reading several posts about 'cooking it well' I stumbled across one that said they just used cold water.. etc.. Well, here is my process, and proved to be a positive experience.

I emptied the balls into a small glass bowl, crushed them up well with a mortar, then added cold water to the mix and stirred, swished around for several minutes. This stuff didn't get gooey at all, the waxy balls more or less keep to themselves.
I then cotton filtered and drew up all the mixture I could. Again, the waxy balls get caught in the cotton, and I saw no trace of these in the draw. The draw suprisingly is nearly clear.
I empty this draw into a smaller spoon, and cotton filter once more. This time its clear as a bell.

Tie off, register, send it home..

Very nice rush, similar to what I've felt with Dilaudid, and in no way do I feel overwhelmingly high. I guess I'd have a moderate tolerance as I've been doing Hydrocodone 10/500's for a few weeks for my back. The opiate high after the initial rush is barely noticeable. I suppose if I pushed this up to 40 mg it'd be more intense and last a bit longer.

So... in a nutshell..

I've found you dont need to 'cook' this stuff at all. Simply wash/stir/mix well with cold water, and filter cautiously a few times to ensure you dont get any large chunks of the waxy balls drawn up in your mix.

Pretty pleasant but not overly intense.. good rush, but I still crave and miss that feeling from Dilaudid.. mmmmm mmm mmmmm.

I know that IV'ing any pills/caps is risky.. Be careful. I've had good experiences and some rather bad experiences from being a dumb ass feeling like I had to shoot it, just to shoot it.
