My boyfriend and frequent rolling partner always gets that- the whole first hour of the come-up is him running back and forth to the bathroom. Usually once everything "clears out" he feels awesome and the high is great, but that first little bit is definitely a workout for the bowels...
 
The feelings of being anxious or nervous often make people have to go. It is nothing to worry about and is actually quite normal.

Hahaha yes always. On mdma and speed. I have a really fast metabolism maybe thats why. But i hate takin a shit whilst its kicking in. I must look like an idiot making fish faces with my mouth n gurning almost with that pffffff feeling when its kickin in hard hahaha

Is there actual evidence that this effect is due to an interaction between your nervous system and gut?

I had always suspected that it was due to the effect of the compound (whatever stimulant it is) acting in the gut itself that caused you to go. My main reasoning come from the fact that capsules of molly ingested orally or molly dissolved in water and plugged cause you to have to shit way before your brain starts to feel the effects. Plugging seems to make this come on very fast, for some people in no more than 10 minutes.

In fact, some people will only plug molly after taking a capsule orally first such that they can get that deuce out of the way and not have to worry about it later on when plugging. LOL =P

But one would suspect the drug interaction that causes one's intestines to start pushing arises directly out of the gut. There are after all serotonin receptors there.

Plugging is the slang term for administering a drug via your rectum. Its also not exclusive to mdma, there are many drugs that can be "plugged".

A lot of people do it to increase the bioavailibity of a drug (meaning, how much your body asborbs) and its also a good option who experience gastrointestinal problems from taking certain substances.

I get stomach cramps on the come up sometimes but it usually stops there... not at the bathroom
