Bluelight Crew
an empire built and built again on our shoulders, to know personal strength and property, to be calm and even in reasoning. take me out, and wonder at my middle - the pressure there. come the war, and documents pronounce disjunction. proving status by title, by occupation, by bank statements and alibis. come the war, and arguments are telephoned in, letters are typed in support or dejection, giving voices to other humans, who will later become accomplices, monday morning, when the meeting takes place.
i will write the sonnets for you, across my knees and ankles, tying around my neck the incompletion of one. if you'll have me; this is where i'll grow into you, far beneath the prying eyes of city lights - far from highways.
i am born.
and born again.
and born again.
i am.
i am wild with dull achings and strange heart beats.
count my pulse, measure, count it out, how the mighty are fallen. how the new men have risen!
there are winds bound for the west, carrying our breath, carrying our secrets. electric impulse makes us happy people. touching hands and recurring fingers, overpronounce, overemphasize the direction and the movement that brings emotion
forward. we are young we are eager.
