What I used to be is somone you couldn't see
Left here im all alone.
But when we come around it'll be to late
A feeling i've always known.
Being the one thats always left out to dry
Stronger it has made me.
But i wonder when this will ever end
Who will i need to be.
Focused and determined working on my own
I still am left empty.
One day i'll notice it or it will notice me
I just have basic needs, simplicity!
But when your left with doubt and confusion
Its hard to move on
One day it will all make sense to me
That you were the one that was wrong.

there was a connection from somewhere,
a communication that couldn't be seen.
like waves in the ocean, colliding and bouncing,
our feelings met right in the middle without commotion.
knowing it would happen, though not worrying about it,
an obstacle snuck in only to push us away.
the sea calms again as i float further and further away,
only to see you holding my lifesaver, getting smaller and smaller.
the horizon gets flatter as the sun starts to set,
still holding on to a glimpse of hope that you will be there to save me.
but to no avail i am left only with a watered down heart, and uselss thoughts,
finally i am submersed by the intense feeling of emotion.
down i sink into the dark cold water,
thinking could this be the end to all that i know.
finally i take a breathe, only to awaken in a pool of sweat,
realising today is a new day, and change is on its way.
