This one was briefly available 13 months ago (previous thread) and is now available again, so might deserve its own thread.

Methoxphenidine (2-MeO-Diphenidine) is more liked than Diphenidine generally, so this may turn out to be an improvement over Ephenidine as well.

90mg oral dose trip report from Niflheim on [another forum]:

90mg of 2-MeO-ephenidine was clearly an effective dose for me. Effects built over an hour or two, reaching a very pleasant disorientation with a more sedating feeling that ephenidine. There wasn't really much physical dissociation going on - my face didn't get that numb feeling - but I kept slipping in and out of various dream-like states. There was an appreciable mood lift and my confused state of mind had me laughing at myself. At one point on the edge of sleep I had a very vivid hallucination of falling off the sofa and flailing around on the floor - then I opened my eyes and was sitting calmly on the sofa again. Visually there was a graininess to things and a flattening of depth, but none of the light psychedelia of eohenidine.

I was still very much impaired when I woke up and basic tasks like showering were confusing. Trying to remember the right order for things like brushing my teeth and shaving was difficult and took much longer than usual. This would have been about 7 hours after dosing and a couple of hours sleep. Another three hours and things are pretty much back to baseline without much in the way of ongoing in impairment.

This was a bit stronger than ephenidine for me, at least in terms of the level of confusion, but also bit friendlier with its happily confused headspace. 90mg might be more than someone completely new to dissociatives would want to try with the extreme confusion at the tail end, but it wasn't overwhelming for me. In general, a pretty positive experience and certainly distinct from the other RC dissocistives that are available.

Unless you've tried every possible ring substituted analogue, how are you in a position to say that lol?
