O.K. so I am addicted to 2 grams of UEI Kratom a day. Tapering off as painlessly as possible, how soon will I be free from this beast of a drug?

Thanks in advance.

P.S. Anyone have recommendations of a tapering schedule or if I should take any other medications to help quicken the process?

hey man, <no glorifying drug use plz-see TDS guidelines, Thanks ;)>. i guess anything you are addicted to can be a pain. i'm not really familiar with UEI and what that is, but 2 grams seems like a low dose. just take it slow, try not to think about it. if you experience a lot of withdrawal, i'd suggest just tapering. but you know that. i hope you can have success in getting free. at least it's not heroin or anything like that.

Measure out doses and put them in bags or something. Tapering with plant material is hard. I experienced this with pods, which I always tapered off of (probably did this 50+ times). The reductions in dosage have to be a bit larger in order to be sure you are reducing your dose.

Yeah I know it's only 2 grams of UEI Kratom but I believe it is the equivalent of 15 - 20 grams of commercial Bali.

I tried cutting the dose to 1 1/2 grams of UEI last night and I could not sleep at all. Then for the anxiety I drank a beer and I had the worst, strangest feeling in the world. I experienced depersonalization, and it felt like I had absolutely no serotonin in my system. So I took another 1/2 gram of UEI and felt completely normal again, bringing my total daily consumption of UEI back to 2 grams. FYI, kratom is a beast of a drug to taper off of.

Does anyone know of a way to make this as painless as possible? Possibly taking xanax or maybe taking other opioids like codeine or hydrocodone?

Who knows what UEI is and what, if any, adulterants/additives are in your kratom?

I take a fairly strong kratom "extract" every now and then and find that a few cups of coffee the next morning help immensely with the kratom hangover. I still feel kind of gnarly that day, usually when I've taken kratom every day for several days straight, but overall, it has never been a big deal.

UEI = Ultra Enhanced Indonesian

When I started taking it... I would compare 2 grams of UEI to about 50 mgs of Hydrocodone. It is an amazing leaf. Total euphoria, and a high like a racehorse. You feel unstoppable. Superior to hydrocodone if you only take it once or twice a week imo.

It sounds like good stuff. I'm going to ask my vendor if he carries or can get UEI. But I'm still wondering if the withdrawal symptoms you're experiencing aren't just from kratom but possibly from some kind of additive that the supplier might add to it. There is really no way to know as this stuff isn't regulated by the FDA.

The content and direction of this Thread is in breach of TDS Guidelines; so am moving this to OD where it will be, hopefully, more suitable.

Come on you guys...

Isn't there a safe, effective way to detox from UEI Kratom?

This is BL you know

Dude, i feel your pain with depersonalization. With that, unfortunately I have found there is not much you can do to feel better... But I have found that just trying not to focus on it makes it a little better. erowid feels your pain with the detox process, i'm not very experienced with detox but honestly i'd suggest professional help.

Kratom is a bit more difficult to taper than most opiates IMO. The withdrawal feeling seems to still come from a small reduction in dose as you described. For me, it was like the smaller dose worked for only a very short time and left me with a very strange withdrawal feeling somewhat unique compared to opiate withdrawal.

I remember thinking to myself that bupe would be like the perfect drug for tapering off kratom, used in a very low dose of course. I believe if you could get even a few mg, you could be off in a very short time. My thinking on this is that you could first get your body used to a stable drug like bupe that doesn't have such wide ranging effects. The withdrawal would then be broken into two steps: first one, kratom full effects to just opiate effects; second one, opiate effects to no opiate effects. Other drugs besides bupe could work for this, but bupe is ideal IMO with the long half-life.

Good luck!

get a perscription Clonidine and Seroquell for sleeping, go to the doc and tell him you have an opiate addiction and you need to detox..... as comfortably as possible.

ive only dealt with pure opiates, soo this krantom sounds.... very interesting.

Testosterone also helps for withdrawls, well it has helped me very much

And if you can get your hands on any Benzo's would prolly help you too. W/D's a bitch man, sorry you gotta go through it :(

You can try the following to help with Withdrawal:

1) you may want to switch to plain leaf for a while so that the WD's won't be as bad when you jump off.

When your ready to stop >

2) low doses of DXM seems to work and possibly codeine (didn't really help me) to take the cravings away.

3) Loperamide to help with cramps and stomach issues

3) Phenibut for anxiety/mood lift. Careful with the Phenibut though. Follow the directions of use and advise from others cause you don't want to become addocted to this sh!t.

After a few days the WD's should stop or at least be almost gone. Then a couple of weeks to feel totally normal again.

Good luck
