Unsure what to think of this.....Last Friday, for the first time ever, I tried a "recreational" dose of DXM--about 200mg, which for my weight is considered a low second-plateau dose. The effects were exactly as described for a first-second plateau experience, during which there were no negative effects. I used pure DXM gel caps and had no nausea. I enjoyed myself for about 6 hours, then felt tired and went to sleep.

The day after, I was so tired that I spent most of the day half asleep. In the morning I experienced mild diarrhea. While awake, and for the next couple of days, I experienced frequent dizziness, leg and jaw muscle spasms, fatigue, and a general brain fog "out of it" feeling. I also had a VERY hard time falling and staying asleep. No change in mood. I have never felt that run-down from drinking or MDMA, and am curious as to why DXM seemed to cause such issues. I am not currently on any drugs, haven't had alcohol in a few months, and only take MDMA a few times a year (last time was a month ago).

DXM isn't a very body-friendly chemical at large doses. Your body is probably just re-calibrating itself, just wait it out.

Just sounds like you're suffering from fatigue and as worldwarme said your body is just "re-calibrating itself". You will probably be less likely to go through this again, or at least not to the severity you described. This has happened to me before, especially the brain fog feeling. Just be careful with dxm, high doses can really fuck you up, don't go further 600mg as you are at extreme risk for toxic psychosis. Take care mate :)
