1st Time Suboxone Use- no history of outdated abuse

Hello. SWIM has a buddy staying at his house. Last night he woke up with severe pain in his back/neck. So much so he was in tears and writhing. SWIM takes suboxone to for opiate dependence. His friend asked for one to help with his pain. SWIM takes 8/2mg and knew it would be suicide to share an entire subingual tablet, so he broke it into 16ths (approx 0.5mg). His friend slept well and the pain dissipated, but now is extremely nauseous and can't stop vomiting to save his life. SWIM has him on a pulsoxcimiter as a precaution, and he seems fine (sating between 98 and 100). I know how long the half life of suboxone is, but I also knows it can vary from person to person.
Two questions. Is SWIM's friend in any dananger? And, how long before the nausea/vomiting dissipates?

First of all, I am new here but I know that SWIM is not used here. And also, I am not a doctor and although there may be doctors on BL, my answer and most peoples answer is going to be go to the ER. Don't risk something happening while you are waiting for someone on a forum to answer. It is probably okay and will probably go away, but again, you never know and if you cant stop vomiting you are risking dehydration among other things.

lol, dont use SWIM.

your friend will be fine; you have no worries. you gave him 1/16 a pill of bupe (Suboxone)? you have no worries. thats next to nothing and is maybe 3-5MG of a regular pill for a non-user.

out of curiosity, how bad were you on your drugs/opiates? I always wonder when it comes to doctors prescribing Suboxone. I was a daily heron under and just wondering what you were to get on these?
