1st time DXM

I read somewhere that your supposed to use DXM HBr but all i had was DXM poly... the bottle says the dose I took equals out to about 540mg of DXM HBr.. Will this give me a good 1st time experience with DXM or am I going to need more? If you need info on what I took it is the Delsym 12 hour cough relief.. I took 90ml.. (DXM poly equivalent to 30 mg DXM HBr per 5ml) So 90/5= 18x30=540.. Any input greatly appreciated.
 
The back of the box doesnt really say how much poly, it just says that the poly is equivalent to 30mg hbr per 5 ml
 
It should say on the bottle....
And another question... Are you used to strong trips? And are you taking any anti-depressants or any other medications?

This is exactly word for word what it says on the bottle and the box..

"Active Ingredients: Each 5ml contains dextromethorphan polistirex equivalent to 30 mg dextromethorphan hydrobromide"

I've never tripped on anything but salvia, and the only thing I take is opiates recreationally.
 
Well, it would help to know how much you took. But, you could be in for a pretty heavy experience. Just enjoy it, and let it take you where it might.

You're in for a hell of a trip. You probably should have started with a dose around 300mg HBR instead of doing the poly, but whatever.
BTW, poly makes everybody throw up, just a little heads up for ya.

Listen to some techno-ish music and enjoy. Hope you enjoy you're first dxm experience :D

I took 90ml of Delsym, and from what I've been able to formulate off the bottle, the amount of DXM poly I took is equivalent to 540mg of DXM HBr

Great.. its been about T+45 minutes, should I take a shower now or is it going to be quicking in relatively soon?
 
DXM is a mind-fuck, but let it embrace you. If you don't have any experience with dissociatives, you will by the end of the experience. Music is your friend.

Thats a fourth plateau, lol

Heres they way it is for me:

120-240 = First Plateau
250-590 = Second Plateau

And 600-700 is a third, but I have a tolerance....
 
3rd plateau for me is like not much above 300 mg if I get in the zone. 1st plateau starts at like 60 mg for me. I think I must be a bit sensitive.
 
No, actually about 150-ish lbs, a little less a few months ago, a little more now. My weight has been all up and down though. But, I ain't tiny, which leads to me believe I am sensitive.

Whats the largest dose of dxm you've done then? I'm wondering what a dose like 500mg would do to someone who can feel a dose as small as 60mg lol
 
Largest dose was 354 mg. Ego-death or something like it happened. It was a trip, let me tell you that. I thought I might have died, wasn't sure who/where I was, had a blast in different universes. Hard stuff. I was, however, able to break the anaesthetic "paralysis", but when I did, it felt so weird. I was disoriented, and just mind-fucked to the hilt. I could very barely walk.

Damn, thats... odd... I thought I was sensitive to DXM XD

Most I've done was 700mg with a gram of Crip (whoppy Florida terms) and about 30mg of jwh-081 freebased.

Oh, check out my poorly written trip report on how I did 500mg of dxm while I was still taking my anti-depressants. Went through serotonin syndrome. Most brutal trip of my life.
