If someone were to start a test cycle for 6-8 weeks what else must they take with the test and how long during the cycle and after. And as far as the PCT what must be taken and for how long?

After PCT is finished is the body technically soppose to be back at normal levels?

And finally what kinf of gains if any can one expect from a cycle of test and are they lost fairly quickly or how well do they stay.

Thanks..

what are your stats? age, weight, height, bf%

what type of test? i.e. what ester is attached (propianate, enanthate, cypionate, etc.)

just from the questions you've written here, you are in no way shape or form ready for steroids...you are asking very basic information that an easy search would provide the answers too...imo, you need to take a while, like a year or two, to do some research on your own and then ask questions about things that you are confused/unsure about along the way, but do some research first on your own...nobody should spoon-feed you information about this type of stuff

as for the gains, nobody can tell you what to expect from any cycle, because there are too many factors involved, such as diet, genetics, how you respond to the compound(s) being used, etc

basically i just wanted this information to decide if one day in the not so close future i would think about doing a cycle. Basically what benefits does this provide how long do they last

Here is a list of things that you should research:

1) AI's (aromatase inhibitors)
2) HCG (as it pertains to steroid cycles)
3) blood work (for steroid cycles)
4) different esters (propianate, deconate, cypionate, enanthate, undecylenate)
5) PCT (Post Cycle Therapy)
6) Proper injection sites and techniques

these are just a few things and I will still say that you need to research on your own...gaining the knowledge on your own vs having somebody just give you what you are asking for is not helping you out

sorry this isn't the info you were looking for

Read some of the threads in the sticky thread graveyard. This should give you a better idea of how steroids work and how to use them effectivly.

If you do a standard 10cc, 200 mg test cycle, lets say week 1-1cc Monday, weeks 2-5 1cc on Monday and 1cc on Thursday, and week 6 do your last cc on Thursday, you should gain 10-15 lbs as long as you eating a good amount of protein (don't just eat a bunch of crap or you will look bloated) and are working out 4-5 days a week. If you continue the good habits afterwards, you should keep most of it (by the way, I would go test cyp over enanth). Most people don't have problems with a cycle like this, but make sure you can get your hands on sona nolvadex just in case, and if you can afford it, its not bad to take for the heck of it because whether you have any negative effects, your body will increase estrogen production regardless, and that tampers with your gains.

1) don't taper your dosages...the esters do that in the body all by themselves...so doing 1 shot one week then 2 shots the next is stupid and is not the standard protocol...also 200 mg/wk is not standard either unless you are on TRT and on TRT you never come off

2) six weeks of test Cyp or Enanthate is nowhere near long enough....should be 10 weeks minimum...at 6 weeks the test is just getting started in your body...it has been scientifically proven that it takes 21-24 days for test enanthate to saturate your blood and 23-28 days for test cyp to saturate your blood meaning that it takes that long for the compound to truly begin working in your system

3) why would you go test cyp over test enanthate? they are the same exact base chemical and the only difference is that the cyp ester takes a few days longer to saturate your blood and completely leave your system

4) nolva should never be used on cycle unless gyno appears...use an AI such as adex or aromasin on cycle...nolva should always be on-hand for pct and in case gyno does appear....as a matter of fact all ancillaries should be on hand before any cycle is begun

5) estrogen is needed for gains to be present, however too much estrogen can affect you and so can too little estrogen, but estrogen is absolutely needed

6) do some more research because you have very very little understanding of AAS from this post

Since this is your first cycle, read up from a few reliable sources. I've done plenty of research and had some success. When I was younger I just put anything in me, but now I am a little more methodical. I talk to the chemists and the atheletes. One thing I've learned is although cypionate and enanthate are very similar, and yield close to the same results, there are some differences in the outcome of how they physically affect you. Also, the total for the 2nd-5th week is 400mg (must be a broken calculator somewhere). And finally, being on a first cycle, its not a bad idea to take a little time going on and coming off. You've never done this before, and since everyone's body is different, play it safe and dont shock your body right off. I personally don't taper anymore, but I've journaled my results after many cycles, and I know what happens with me. Unless you want to be that guy that bloats up and down and does that two inch down movement he calls a bench press, then go for the slow and steady results and ignore the last post. And six weeks will give you a good start. You can always add to it, just start slow, take extra vitamins and protein (especially a quickk digesting protein right after workouts), keep a journal, read up, and good luck!

1st Bold Underlined point - Cypionate and Enanthate are esters that do not change the base compound they are attached too...they are attached at different points in the chemical chain and affect the release time of the base compound...any other differences would be so mild they are unnoticeable

2nd Bold Underlined Point
- you said a standard 200 mg test cycle, I did not miscalculate, I simply didn't do any math and only based it off of the first week...however that still is not typical...typical is 500 mg/wk and yes there is a significant difference between the two amounts, however there is nothing wrong with starting low for a first cycle

3rd Bold Underlined Point - do not taper up or down on the dosages...the esters do that for you...ever hear of half lives and active lives...tapering the dosages on your own by injecting less of the compound to come off will cause severe hormone spikes that will bring on many unneeded and unwanted sides...let the ester do it's job and taper the compound out of your system for you...tapering up is less of an issue when doing it initially, but it is not recommended because it can cause a spike in hormone levels that your body isn't ready for so it is best to go ahead and get stable hormone levels as quickly as possible by starting out with the dosage you plan to use for the entire cycle

4th Bold Underlined Point - you are a complete and utter moron...first of all bloat is easily controlled by increased water intake, more water in = more water out, and decreased sodium intake...also using an AI such as Adex or Aromasin minimizes bloat even more by helping to control estrogen, but not eliminating it completely when using the right dosages...try doing a search on Aromatase Inhibitors and hop into the 21st century where we have proven that nolva on cycle is a no-no for estrogen control

5th Bold Underlined Point - again 6 weeks is not a good starting point for cypionate and enanthate esters as they take a minimum of 3-4 weeks to even saturate your blood...most people don't even begin noticing results until 4-6 weeks in on the compounds so 6 weeks would be a complete waste...that's why it is recommended that a first cycle of test cypionate or test enanthat be 10-12 weeks to maximize the use of the test in your system

I know I'm not known well around here, but have plenty of experience both first hand and through research regarding anabolic hormones.

First cycle IMO, should always consist of ONE substance (99% of the time that should be Test either suspension or with an ester). Mixing steroids is like mixing any drug, its best only when you are experienced and know how your body will react, and the best way to learn that is keeping it simple during the beginning. Testosterone IMO is the best pound for pound steroid (you will get differing opinions on that, but its the only one I currently use, and I did some amateur and local PL events for the past 4 or 5 years, so I do have a little experience and some moderate success, so Im speaking from experience), and one of, if not THE safest. Start as low as possible, probably 300mg is a nice starter dosage, and I personally prefer longer cycles (20-26 weeks), as long as the user uses HCG on cycle 1-2 times weekly at 200-250IU per injection.

Stay on the lowest mg you can, as long as you can. Get the most out of what you are using before you decide to bump it up, and believe me VERY VERY VERY few people fully maximize their efforts using solid training and nutritional guidelines. Most just decide to bump their "juice" up every time they get in a bit of a slump and before you know it they are over a gram a week and look like crap.

Make sure you have your nutrition, training and supplementation on point and a MINIMUM of 2 years training experience (and I dont mean two years doing bodybuilding mag training either... if you dont understand what I meant by that last statement, you arent ready yet, trust me)...and at least 23 years old (pref 25).
