1st plateau DXM on antidepressants - safe or not?

I am currently taking 50mg desvenfalaxine (SNRI) daily and 50mg trazodone (tricyclic) nightly. I have acquired some DXM syrup and I would like to use it recreationally, but I am aware that the combination of DXM & other serotoninergic agents can be dangerous. I am not planning to take a large dose of DXM but I was wondering if a 1st plateau trip would be safe, or would there be a risk of serotonin syndrome? Thanks.

Would strongly advise against it. Even if you don't get full on serotonin syndrome, there's still a strong chance of getting side effects associated with it, which is completely gonna ruin any fun you were gonna have on the drug.

Mixing two SNRIs does not sound like a recipe for fun. I'd skip the DXM, were I you.
