Benzos are excellent for bad trips (for lysergimides and psilocybe at least.) as they will steer a bad trip in a better direction due to the anxiolotic effect (most bad trips are simply extended panic attacks). What they wont do is stop the trip, as they dont dampen the psychedelic effects, allowing you to potentially turn a bad trip into a good one once the benzos have dampened out the negative thought loops.

An antipsychotic medication would abort a trip altogether, but they take so long to take effect you will more than likely be back to normal before they start to work. Benzodiazepines are always the best bet, and can be used to manage a psychedelic crisis if first line support doesnt help (you should always try and support a person through a bad trip by reassuring them, removing them to a queit, well lit area and try and talk them down beforer resorting to benzodiazepines or other sedatives.
 
@steewith2ees, thanks again for the info.... i hope that my migraine or sinus pressure that i have been experiencing lately does not kicks in before i take the geltabs i bought(street ), would advil or claritan ruin it for me for either one street or 1p-lSd, i am also going to search this topic too :)

i am waiting on my 1p-lsd to arrive, should be here soon
 
I shall be indulging in my first ever trip tomorrow with this stuff.

I'm excited! Little apprehensive but I'll be in good company to keep me chilled. Gonna be using a human canvas to paint on, what could go wrong :P
 
And so you should be, you're about to take one of the best substances ever dreamt up.. Apprehension is to be expected, it's really, really not the head fuck it's portrayed to be. You'll be too busy laughing to notice anything negative.. =D Enjoy and report back, love to know what you make of it..

I think the apprehension is although I've had a wee dabble with amt one new years I have never actually tripped. But I'll be with a veteran who'll ease it all quite nicely I hope :D

Hopefully some backgarden camping is on the cards.
 
dam i forgot i got work during the day and have to take a benzo to get through horrible work experience will this effect it if i take 2mg xanax in the morning :/
 
So, I have been reading trip reports etc etc to help to understand a little of what happens. Any last minute advice? Tips for during the day prior to trip? Nice things to have after? I am for all suggestions.
 
Some weed might be nice, but not necessary. I actually found the combination with speed at the end of the trip quote pleasant. Otherwise set and setting as always, just chill and enjoy the show.

Stick the BBC iplayer on and check out the glasonbury performances from Rudimental, Deadmau5 and the Chemical brothers. Fucking amazing and provided the audio - visual backdrop to my first tab.

Just relax, make sure you have benzos to hand - they can be taken prior to the trip if your unduly anxious without compremising the effect, or saved to chill with after if you dont need them during the trip.

100mcgs was enough to give me a powerful, profound experience (including what the professional acid heads describe as an 8A geometry experience) lasting almost exactly 8 hours (from ingestion, up and back to bassline). Dont fight it - your likely to have acute insights into yourself and the world, which can be disconcerting to some people - embrace the new concepts and revelations you may have, lie on your back with your limbs straight out and as you sink into the floor feel the connection you personally have to the rest of the universe. Its like a user friendly version of street acid, the effect comes on nice and smoothly, giving you a chance to get used to your new headspace as the trip intensifies.

STICK TO 100mcgs / ONE TAB

If your mate is an experienced tripper, he may want to try 2 and will encourage you to do the same. Im a degenerate junky of the highest order and overdo everything, but as much as I enjoyed my 1-P LSD i was satisfied with my level of mashup - 200mcgs would have been too much. If you do find that one tab isnt strong enough (give it 2 hours to reach peak) dont waste your tabs by trying to take any more - you will just extend the duration of the trip without achieving any extra effects.

A underwhelming trip is better than a bad one, so give it a couple of weeks before trying again - now you may want to try 2 tabs as an initial dose, but please just start with the one - despite some subtle differeces,these tabs induce a genuine acid trip and as such this powerful but amazing drug needs treating with respect.

Hope you love it, if the weather gets nice i might just grab my mp3, drop 1 and head off into the local woods with my bag of ganja. Its been a fortnight since I had one

@steewith2ees , thanks your info has been much appreciated, especially about aborting mission, and taking a benzo prior since i have work during the day, i wont be able to blast until evening hours, but still have to manage with rude people, thanks , unfortunately i didn't get my 1p-lsd , its coming but today i will use my geltab, probably pick up some more from the street kid just to be able to do it again on tuesday , til i figure out if im having migraines or something else serious, i am trying to knock these migraines out or eye pressure cant tell the difference

Dont want to neg u out d00fy, but if your having any anxieties about your health you may become overly preoccupied with such thoughts while tripping - just remember that its particularly easy to talk yourself out of negative thought loops if you use an effective anxiolotic benzo - but if you do have a migraine attack id recommend postponing your trip for a different day.

I hope you do get one down you tonight - just take on board what people have said - you come across as well prepared and headstrong so please have a fantastic time and tell us all about it. It basically gave my fucked up brain a really refreshing spring clean and kept me happy for days afterwards.

Ive been at the 3-fpm for the last 24 hours - i did have a break and a good sleep but started again within half an hour of waking up - not very healthy - i feel quite sketchy in a good way.

But now my father has offered to take my mom out to a cricket match so I can have some peace and quiet.

All this talk of 1-P LSD - and in 5 minutes ill have a large detached house to myself, all the music and cinema i can stand, ganj, more 3-fpm...... and 5 tabs of 1-P that suddenly seem attractive considering i have a 6 hour window..

If anyones following this thread, share your happy thoughts with me as i think im going to have one. It would be appreciated as i have no one to trip-sit me and i could end up eating my words if this becomes the straw that broke the camels back.

Ok jobs done, no point in getting stressed no, just need to put that sketch powder away and pack an overnight bag in case I end up getting sectioned
 
No im not - but i have a rare window of opportunity - and im feeling quite charged following my little cry this morning. I wont be touching any more 3fpm and i have enough different benzodiazepines that i could start my own chemists. Ill probably flip out, but ive got you guys to laugh at me when i do, and i will have probably leart a lesson of some sort. As long as i dont die, and i dont think im going to (for today anyway) good music and the ability to check in here should get me through it. 20 mins since i had it and im almost beyond typing already

just feed me happy vibes, the odd 'yay' or something every hour or so should suffice.

right this is going to be some ride - its coming on unbelievably fast - need some music quick
