Okay so this is my first post so apologies if I do anything wrong.
This is a trip report on the chemical 1P-LSD. SWIM took it 4 days ago so his recollection may be hazy but he'll try his best.
SWIM has always been keen to try LSD but due to a lack of reliable connections he decided it wasn't worth gambling on it due to the high likelihood of being sold N-BOMe. SWIM has previously had many experiences with (what I believed to be 25I-) N-BOMe and despite having (mostly) good experiences with it he felt that it wasn't strong enough for him but also wasn't safe enough to take more than one tab. SWIM has also had lots and lots of experience with MDMA, cocaine, ketamine, speed and cannabis. SWIM is 18y/o, 6ft and 11st. SWIM is quite good at handling his shit and felt confident enough to try 1P-LSD after lots of research on it revealing that it is meant to be almost identical to LSD with some are arguing that it does actually metabolize into LSD in-vivo. With a friend he purchased 5 100ug tabs.
SWIM and his friend were originally intending to only take half a tab for their first trip as SWIM's only experience with psychedelics has been with N-BOMe, MDMA and ketamine; with SWIM's friend having even less experience. Set was okay, they were both pretty excited about trying it and were both feeling quite optimistic, although the nervousness showed through their lack of conversation. Setting was at a fairly un-used and secluded park near to where SWIM lives. This is because of SWIM and his friends age, they both still live with their parents and so would not be able to go back to SWIM's house until parents had gone to bed. Impulsively we decided to take a whole tab, probably out of excitement and their tendency to make reckless decisions when it comes to drug use (especially on SWIM's part).

21:30 - Dropped 100ug tab

21:45 - Started to do a few nos balloons in anticipation for the come up

22:00 - SWIM's friend starts to come up, SWIM feeling excited but no noticeable effects

22:15 - SWIM is definitely starting to come up, light from the lamp post starts pulsing onto the park, slowly getting lighter and darker. Floor dips when SWIM's friend treads down. They do a few nos balloons and end up laughing quite hysterically and staring in awe at how good the visuals are getting

22:30 - SWIM is now overwhelmed by visuals. SWIM feels like his vision has a pink filter over it. Almost like his vision when he stands up too quickly after sitting down for too long. SWIM can constantly see a spiral of tessellated shapes that at first looked like toads and then turned into stars. This dominated SWIMs vision wherever he looked and would often become 3D when looking at the floor or a solid surface.

SWIM and his friend make many jokes about how much stronger it is from N-BOMe. SWIM feels like all the depictions of an LSD trip he's seen on the internet and the media (tessellations, kaleidoscope type vision, vivid colours, inanimate objects/lights/surfaces appearing to pulse or breathe) are actually quite accurate.

SWIM and his friend feel euphoric, but at the same time overwhelmed and surprised at how amazing the visuals are, they thought that the depictions of an LSD trip on the internet and in the media were all heavily exaggerated.

SWIM and his friend try to do nos balloons but find that it almost has no effect, SWIM tries to persist but finds that it only feels like he has blacked out for about 30 seconds and then comes back feeling confused and unsure of what's just happened.

SWIM's friend starts to play music on his phone and this sets a good mood, we become quite oblivious to how loud we are being and end up dancing around the park, only stopping to laugh hysterically at what random passers by must think of them (in retrospect this was quite irresponsible and SWIM feels bad for his obnoxiousness to his neighbors).

SWIM's sense of taste is very heightened as he finds it difficult to smoke due to the vile taste and the sudden realization of the harm he is doing to his body, this surprises SWIM as he has been smoking heavily for just over a year and has never felt this way before

SWIM's friends phone runs out of battery and this suddenly creates a quite awkward and disappointed atmosphere as we cannot return home to charge it until parents are asleep.

23:00 - SWIM's friend suggests that we go down to the beach to his girlfriend's friend's party. This is a good 30 min walk through some quite highly populated and busy roads. SWIM and his friend had made the mistake of travelling too far last time when they were only on N-BOMe (something we felt to be probably only a 1/4 of the strength of what we were on). Despite SWIM's better judgement (possibly due to the confidence the happy and euphoric feelings SWIM was experiencing gave him) we headed off to the beach party.

We struggled to contain our laughter as we walked down the busy road towards the beach and SWIM found his failed attempts to be inconspicuous hilarious but at the same time had sudden flashes of anxiety when realizing he is drawing a lot of attention to himself and a car similar to his parent's drives past. SWIM also feels a wave of anxiety when he turns around to see a police car heading his way, as the police car passes the anxiety turns into hysterical laughter again.

SWIM and his friend find it difficult to cross the road as SWIM is very aware of people making misjudgments on the speed and distance of something whilst on a hallucinogenic drug.

23:30 - SWIM and his friend come across one of SWIM's friend's exes who was coming back from the party, we end up sitting on the corner of a road for what felt like 10 mins but was actually an hour. We had some pretty meaningless conversations, did a few nos balloons which didn't do a lot, but still had a pretty good laugh and met a dog walker who seemed to be quite aware we were all intoxicated and just wanted to leave but his dog wouldn't move. SWIM's friend starts to panic as he struggles to think of how we are going to get back, SWIM doesn't put much thought into it and tells him it's fine.

00:45 - SWIM feels like he is thridwheeling a lot on the walk back and this makes him quite uncomfortable, spends most of the walk back walking far behind SWIM's friend and his ex, but due to feelings of anxiety and being uncomfortable didn't get much time to explore thoughts and ideas. At this point SWIM fully notices the inability to think straight and feels quite dazed and confused. SWIM would compare this feeling to his experiences of ketamine. A feeling of almost being like a rabbit that's just woken up from a 9 year coma and has been caught in headlights.

01:00 - Upon arriving at the park they all talk and SWIM continues to do nos balloons hoping to try and actually remember it but every time comes back as if waking up after blacking out. This cycle repeats for quite some time, SWIM being constantly more and more confused, wanting to go home but feeling like he cant due to friends.

01:30 - SWIM is still amazed by visuals, but his confusion and slight underlying desire to be at home due to the cold and boredom makes him quite uncomfortable. At this point SWIM feels like he wants the trip to weaken slightly so he can think straightly and decide what he's going to do next but gets more and more frustrated at his inability to collect his thoughts. SWIM continues to do nos and tries to smoke again, once again being heavily repulsed by it.

02:30 - SWIM and his friend part ways with girl and return home. After returning inside the visuals appear to have calmed down and have now taken a more enjoyable, softer turn. SWIM isn't sure if this is because of the already visually stimulating setting combined with the bright light (SWIM finds that looking at 'trippy' images e.g. kaleidoscopes actually ruins visuals and makes him feel sober) as the visuals were still quite strong just not as visually obstructive and it made SWIM feel like he was more connected with reality and so could relax more.

SWIM and his friend individually looked at their phones and laptops, with Netflix playing in the background. SWIM had been planning to play Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain whilst on acid for quite some time and decided to do just that, despite it being almost impossible to play it was quite a funny experience. Other than that, looking at screens didn't seem to help the visuals much colour wise. We put on David Bowie's 'The Man Who Sold The World' and it was a pretty amazing experience for SWIM. SWIM isn't someone who is very much into music apart from regularly listening to it on his phone but SWIM felt he could really feel the song (if that makes any sense).

SWIM and his friend then tried to watch the American TV sitcom 'Community'. It was an odd experience for SWIM as their faces appeared distorted. SWIM and his friend felt like we were ruining the show for themselves as they suddenly felt they were able to see through the acting, and the poor green screening became all the more obvious.

03:30 - SWIM and his friend then start to have a pretty deep meaningful conversation for the continuation of the night. This is the first time SWIM experienced any 'thoughtfulness' as he had little time to think to himself or have any deep conversations with his friend. Most visuals had pretty much all stopped by this point, with only a few minor colour alterations and distortions.

05:30 -SWIM and his friend continue to have a pretty deep conversation whilst watching Community in the background, SWIM thinks he tried to go to bed at this point but they both decided against it as it seemed too late to get any sleep.

08:30 - The conversation carried on right into the morning, by this point I wasn't noticing any visual affects, but appeared to still be experiencing a different pattern of thinking (the thoughtful and thinking outside of the box type)

10:00 -By this point SWIM and his friend realised they were home alone, did a few nos balloons which seemed to spark them with energy again, much to their surprise, before then going back out to the park to observe the damage. SWIM's friend was still reporting extremely mild visuals, but nothing intrusive.

SWIM is fairly sure there wasn't much of a hangover, however when SWIM saw his girlfriend after lunch he was feeling very lethargic, melancholy and was experiencing quite bad bouts of anxiety. SWIM has been experiencing slight bouts of depression lately anyway and hadn't had much sleep the night before either so was running on empty so to speak. SWIM thinks these negative feelings is mostly down to his overall mood anyway combined with a severe lack of sleep and he doesn't think the extreme amounts of caffeine he's been consuming would of helped much either.

SWIM felt that the overall experience wasn't as good as it could of been but this is due to set and setting. Overall SWIM thinks the drug was amazing and cannot wait to try it again in a couple of weeks when his tolerance has gone down, although he has been re-thinking his ideas on taking a 200ug dose after realising how strong 100ug can be. SWIM's friend felt the experience was very overwhelming, and he has a tendency to panic so has said he will only take a 50ug (half a tab) dose from now on. For SWIM's next trip he's decided he'll only take the 100ug dose if he knows he's going to be in a very comfortable environment with good people he is close with, otherwise he will take 50ug, as it was quite overwhelming when they found themselves quite lost and SWIM was stuck thirdwheeling with someone he didnt know. SWIM is also thinking about getting MDMA and cannabis for his next trip as he hears this greatly enhances it. SWIM has also ordered some Etizolam which is supposed to be an anologue for benzodiazepine that SWIM will take on the comedown so he can sleep well, and also as a safety measure in case SWIM has a bad trip, as it is apparently very good for anxiety relief.

SWIM would advise anyone who wishes to try it to not make the same impulsive decision SWIM made. Even if you're experienced with hallucinogens apparently many people have reported it feeling stronger than LSD, due to street level LSD often being under-dosed (sold as 100ug but is actually 80ug). SWIM thinks that a 50ug dose will be very enjoyable and will be much easier to control and be able to relax with and looks forward to trying it, and would recommend this dose to any beginners (which I'm sure there will be lots of due to the legality of 1P-LSD in the UK, anyone can get hold of it)

So far this is by far the best drug SWIM has taken yet and looks forward to having many more experiences with it.

Come up: 30-45mins
Peak: 3.5 hours
Visuals: 7.5/10 (1= none, 3= mild, 5= strong, 7=intense, 10=overwhelming)
'Epiphany' thoughts: 5/10 (1= none, 5=strong realizations, 10= enlightenment)
Comedown: 3 hours
Overall lasting trip: 8 hours

The use of "SWIM" is not allowed here because it does not actually offer any legal protection, and it makes posts frustrating to read. Aside from that, I think you did everything right.

Thank you for sharing this, it sounds like a nice experience even if it could've been better. :) You actually reminded me of a story a family member has told me, about taking LSD back in the '60s and smoking cigarettes. Just like you he took a drag and could just feel how much damage he was doing to himself, and he quit that day and never looked back. Isn't it crazy what just a little bit of sensory enhancement and suggestion can do?

Oh okay thank you for letting me know! Wish I knew before as it's such a pain in the ass to write haha. You're right, it's amazing how life changing psychedelics can be. Just like your family member I haven't had one since and am hoping to keep it that way!

No problem, and yeah, I remember the days when it was still the thing to do on lots of sites, it just gets tiring after a while haha. I'm glad that the trip has stuck with you and I very much hope it continues to, your life will be far better off without that habit keeping you down. There are far better vices worth saving your life rations for anyway! ;)
