Benzos 1mg alprazolam lasting over 8 hours???

My bupe doc had no problem prescribing temazepam but its only 30x 30mg capsules.. doesn't go very far. He mentioned prescribing someone xanax while they were tapering their dose.. I didn't inquire further because I recently experienced what benzo withdrawals are like and they were worse than even the most severe opiate withdrawals were for me. Honestly it was plain scary..so I decided that the cost outweighs the benefits big time.. nothing is worth that kind of hell.

I cringe thinking about what withdrawals would be like if I was on a solid year muchless a decade.

@@hippiechick lol at your doctor knowing the truth about aliens.

I may have a Bible black avatar, but i'm a dude.

We are going wayyyy off topic. Do we have a conspiracy thread nearby? :)

@hippychild Get a psych eval from a psych doc.Just be as honest as you can. If you need it, you'll probably get it. Like last poster said, that's not what addiction doctors do.

@OP Were those from a pharmacy? Almost sounds like a fake pill given your use w/ other benzos.

Yes, they were bought straight from the pharmacy, all the benzos I take come straight from the pharmacy or, if bought on the street, still in the blister pack. In this case it was a box of 60 generic Sandoz 0.5mg alprazolam pills. Imprint APZM 0.5, pink tabs.

And I don't know what was up that day, but it didn't happen to me again. I ended up taking 5.5mg of alprazolam yesterday over the course of the day and it only worked for a few hours. Maybe it was the coffee that day (the day it seemingly lasted 12 hours or so) as well, a cup in the morning, and a one at lunch (I rarely drink coffee too, it tends to make me too restless at times), and also the fact that I was extremely happy that day due to some other circumstances. I don't know...

An interesting thing I noticed though is that these last few weeks that I've been taking benzos, I always wake up more "fresh" and in a good mood. For example, yesterday, on top of the alprazolam, I also took 30mg of midazolam at night, around 2-3am, sublingually (which basically didn't do shit due to my tolerance), but this morning I woke up, and, like every other morning these last few weeks I felt speedy, but in a good way, talkative, sociable and overall in a good mood and ready to get my day started... I don't know if it's the benzos or just placebo, maybe it's just some other circumstances in my life making me feel that way... After all, it's not always the drugs that affect the way we feel and act. ;)
