19, 120lbs, considering steroids.... (pic inside)

^^^with the way he looks, I'd guess he could make great gains on a peanut butter sandwich and (whole) milk diet (a bit exaggerated). Metabolism like a blast furnace. And use those munchies to your advantage man.

Edit: P.S. - pull your pants up. :P

ok yeah you guys are right on the eating thing. I don't really eat as much as i should. kinda lied in the OP on that, sorry. I often think theres better things to do with time than eat a big meal. So i kinda just snack a little and do noodles for lunch and maybe cereal for breakfast. we cook big for dinner. thats about the regular routine. Whats some cheap foods to put on size? dieting has never been really a focus for me i guess, id like to start eating more and i've been lifting alot more frequently, so that's a start.

I guess I was just looking for quick easy weight size. not necessarily to have the biggest muscles for my size, just fill myself out so i look atleast average and not really skinny ya know. Kinda hard to really take a person my size serious even though i know my mma skills are good, people often look at the size of a person and don't listen past that if you're small.
kinda hard to say what i mean, im stoned. it makes sense to me though

Take a mix of drol and dbol, your muscles will be filled with water while you're on and you'll gain a lot of weight (not srs, because it'll go when you stop taking them)

I understand your pain as I'm only a few years older than you and also want to cycle. I'm only 5'6 and was really skinny growing up.

But I started gaining weight fast...now a lot of that was fat at first because I didn't know what I was doing but I had the same mindset that most skinny guys have. "somethings wrong with me I just can't gain weight must be my genetics" NO! It's all about calories in vs calories out.

Start drinking a gallon of whole milk a day with whatever you are eating. Now you said you do MMA training which is probably why you aren't gaining weight, if your eating 3000 calories a day which to me as a small guy feels like a lot of food. But you are probably burning that much a day, and you might have a faster metabolism but I really don't think metabolism is as big as a factor as people make it out to be.

Calories in vs calories out, your body is a chemistry lab and its basic science if your eating more calories than you burn...its going to go somewhere. And trust me, you have very low body fat so don't be afraid...as I said drink a gallon of milk and maybe eating spoon fulls of peanut butter along with your 5 meals and you will start gaining weight my friend.

If you can't stomach that much milk or food, invest in a weight gainer powder ( I like ON's serious mass, one of the cheapest source of calories) Don't be afraid of the calories, find what your body needs to gain and critique from there. At your size I would be eating whatever the hell I fancied just to find out what my maintenance level was ( keep track of calories though).

I been skinny all my life too, from about grade 10 until recently this year (im 25 now) I was 130lbs and it seemed 'no matter what I did' I couldnt gain any weight.

Bollocks.

What it really was was lack of consistency eating and lack of quality.

I got into missing breakfast, would eat out all the time and so on and so forth. Since january I've put on 35lbs. Yeah some of it is fat, you're gonna have to get over your 'abs' if you want to gain size. I guarantee you, if you consistently eat, day in, day out, and you weight lift 3x a week you will gain size. Look up starting strength. The book even reccomends skinny dudes liek youa nd me drink a gallon of milk a day and push 6000 cals.

With all your mma training and what not youll need to really push the cals because you're burning a lot. I personally eat between 3 and 4 and I only lift and maybe go for a 20-30 min run once or twice a week at the moment. If you're eating 3000 now, push it to 4000. Be consistent. Consistency is KEY.

With steroids you need an actual muscle base to work off of, which you don't have. I've personally considered them myself, but I wont be even thinking about them until I am 180 @ <10%bf, which is a long way out as I am about 15% or more bf at the moment, and really, when I get to that point Ill be pretty satisfied with myself.

Trust me bro, Ive been exactly where you are.. my dad is skinny as a bird too, I figured its not in my genetics at all.. turns out my genetics arent half bad and Ive made some amazing gains even factoring in the fact that they are 'noob gains.' If you want to keep up a high training level with your MMA stuff you're gonna have to realize that you're not going to be able to make the same amount of gains in size and strength as you could without all that activity, its possible but you have to eat like a BEAST. Seriously dude, eat food. I felt exactly like you do, feeling super skinny, wanting to fill out and be taken a little more seriously etc.. I promise you, eat like a beast, lift heavy 3x a week squats, deadlifts, bench, overhead press and powercleans and you will put on 20-30lbs in 3 months

all about momentum.
within 20 minutes or so after you workout(basically as soon as you've reached a resting heart rate you're good) you have to eat big.
When you aren't training mma, you can have a workout right before every time you can possibly eat a meal. Workout-->Eat---recover---repeat
obviously you shouldn't do heavy squats 5x a day, so you may have 1 full-body exercise a day or every other day, and the rest are submaximal exercises designed to get a pump.
have to sleep good
no stimulants allowed

if you stay on that lifestyle you're body goes anabolic(growing), otherwise you stay catabolic with your metabolism.

every workout+meal you do like that gets you a centimeter closer to your goal, and takes several weeks to see much difference.

A gallon of whole milk a day has worked for everyone I've suggested it to.

Dont do it, atleast not until you are 23. Bealive me, i have seen and know this myself, i have seen guys do it even skinnier than you in that age and get good/bad i have seen some take the other decision, and they all regret they did not wait and train and eat right longer. Try not to take these kind of things when your still "growing"
You can get good. If you smoke and take drugs or party alot, try to skip that and if you dont sleep well than fix that problem is my advice

Good luck

UFC has weight classes. Bulk up from roids and you'd be fighting people who are cutting down.
IMO, most fighters at that level (elite) have at least experimented with roids, but probably not the bulking kind.

You want to gain size?

Follow this routine, 3 times per week:

Squat - 1x20,1x15
Flat/Incline Bench - 2x8
Bent over row - 3x8
Overhead press - 2x8
Chin ups - 2x failure Or pull downs, until you can do chins
Stiff leg deadlift - 2x8
Barbell curls - 2x8

Start drinking milk, a gallon per day, along with your regular meals.

Eat protein every meal: Meat, chicken, fish, eggs.

Carbs: Bread, oats, pasta, potato, cereal.

Fats: Peanut butter, olive oil, avocados.

You're a stoner, don't you get the munchies?

You're ridiculously lean, you can put on alot of muscle without getting fat.

That is guaranteed to blow someone up If it doesn't, they either didn't follow directions or are terminally ill.

I have the same problem im about 5ft11 and i weight 10stone with like 7.8% body fat , ill try this Gallon of milk a day thing .

Hi, everybody, I am a new friend.

Hello! Welcome to Bluelight! This is the Steroid Discussion Forum, fell free to post new threads with any question regarding steroids or respond to preexisting threads. Check out the rest of the site as well.

Bananas, Whey Protein, Creatine and a N02 Supplement...

besides those.

EAT WHATEVER YOU WANT and LIFT. Like 1.5.-2hr sessions. with free weights.. stick to high-rep 10-15lb weights. Bench big and get bigger.

never..ever, use roids at your age. Silly.

It hasn't failed one person who's taken my advice and tried it. Just add it into your normal eating routine. You'll see a noticeable difference after 4 weeks. I still drink a gallon of milk a day whenever I'm bulking since I LOVED milk and it's a very cost effective way to get calories and a host of other nutrients. In addition to a moderate cardio routine, the fat gain has always stayed at a manageable level(13-15% bf) for me while bulking.

I don't know why but I laughed...

100% agree with eating whatever you want, and as much as possible... Gain that fucking weight, pile mcdonalds into you, I have the same metobalism as you I don't gain fat at all I stay at 11% no matter what, never been above 12%...

In regards to lifting for 2 hours, don't do this, you will overtrain and go backwards..

He hasn't been active for nearly two months and you still giving him advice lol

don't matter if the OP is listening or not. It's all valid info for anyone to take or leave as they see fit.

For bulking, I've found that 5x5s work great (learned about 'em right here in this forum). Also, it doesn't hurt to get a coffee grinder and grind up oats to add to daily, frequent protein shakes (learned that here as well)
