Okay it's taken me some time to formulate my thoughts on this particular subject. Some of you may have seen a thread I posted about a sample of "6-APB" I was posted that did not give the proper Marquis reaction and had some confusing effects. This is my report from my experience with that unknown compound (See one of my other reports for background info, I can't really be bothered to type it all out again).

Dose: 10mg insufflated, followed by 80mg oral, followed by 90mg oral.

I recieved the sample whilst I was home alone on one of the sunnier days we had just over a week ago. I had hoped it would prove to be the real deal, but when tested with Marquis it didn't change colour at all and effervesced an awful lot. This made me suspicious, but I looked at the white, crystalline powder and decided to see if perhaps they'd just bunged me a bit of Mephedrone or something similar. I wouldn't have complained, to be honest.

I started by putting out a very small line, which I insufflated. This insufflation was accompanied by pain I could scarcely believe- probably twice as bad as anything I've tried previously. After swearing loudly at the top of my voice for some time, I blew my nose and decided that whatever this stuff was, I had chosen the wrong R.O.A. So I dissolved a little amount in some orange juice and sent it down the hatch. In retrospect this was an act of stupidity that I'm not normally prone to- especially when you consider I had no scales at the time with which to measure dosage. I was lucky, and didn't suffer any ill effects as a result.

Instead, over the next hour or so, I felt a gradual but intense comeup. This started with my pupils widening massively, and progressed to a very clear-headed but profound stimulation. I didn't record any big changes in my BPM, but I was extremely focused and energetic ( in the same way I would expect from prescription amphetamines, although that's speculative). I made use of my newfound focus by typing up some stuff for my blog etc, and managed to get a huge amount done. At this point there was mild euphoria, but stimulation was the overriding symptom.

Roughly an hour and a half after that I began to hallucinate. I have only ever hallucinated before through sleep deprivation, and those were uncontrollable, uncomfortable and often frightening images. This was a much more subtle warping of certain objects (and breathing walls) that was not even remotely unsettling. More encouragingly, I could pretty much "choose" whether or not to hallucinate at any given point, which made me feel much more comfortable. This continued while I happily tapped away at my keyboard and spoke to friends online for about another three hours.

For some reason, at this point, I decided to redose. I did it really absent mindedly, and even now I'm not really sure why, but it didn't change things an awful lot. The trippiness increased somewhat, and I began to get fairly wild fluctuations in body temperature (or at least the perceived temperature of various parts of my body). I don't know how best to describe this, other than to say it was like a shadow passing over me- the parts in the shade went cold briefly, and the ones out of the shadow were warm. This was tingly and altogether quite pleasant.

It's now that I start to really appreciate what the fuck this is all about. Again, it's difficult to describe, but if you imagine experiencing everything from someone else's point of view (albeit from the safety of your own body) you won't be a million miles off. I'll give you an example: at one time I found myself looking at my face in the mirror, complete with this coy grin I'd adopted for some reason. But I wasn't smiling because I found anything funny, it was almost the shy kind of smile you find yourself stuck with when you're talking to someone you fancy (or at least want to look cool in front of). Damn it I wish I could explain this more clearly. But I definitely had some serious insights during my experience, for what it's worth.

I won't bore you with the rest, but the total time period for which I was "up" starting with the initial insufflation, was about 14 hours. Which is insane. Other things I noted about this compound include:

- Definitely anorectic (I didn't eat a thing all day)
- Compromises co-ordination slightly, but not much
- Doesn't taste of much.
- Closed eye visuals resembled pyrotechnics at a concert, and sycnhronised themselves with whatever music was playing (?).

I got to sleep at about 4am in the end. When I woke up the next day, I had a mild headache and my appetite took some time to return, but all in all the comedown was negligible.

Thanks for reading, anyway, sorry if it's not organised very well my memories of the event are somewhat jumbled. But any thoughts on what this stuff is?

There's no way for any of us to know what you took. I'm not 100% sure as to the rules of posting a trip report on an unknown substance being I'm the newest TR mod, but I'm going to close this for now. It is a nice report, but personally, don't like unknown substance reports. If any other mods feel it should be reopened, they will do so.
